Planning ahead for Xmas

My little brother is moving out for the first time. He works and goes to college full time and if that's not stressful enough my parents are moving out of the state so he will be really on his own. I want to get him some sort of bachelor/college student frozen meals of the month thing for Christmas. Does anyone know of such a company that does this? I've only found large portions for families or fancy meals so far.

    I used Omaha Steak to send my brother frozen filets when he was in college. They may of an "of the month club"

    Beer is food. Not just for college students, but men in general. I got my dad a beer of the month subscription for Christmas last year and he looooved it.

    We have ordered from Plated before and everything comes in a box that you will need for three meals.  I guess they would need a stove but most dorms have even common kitchens.  I have also heard that hello fresh is similar.  Hope this might help. :)

    First of all, what a thoughtful gift idea!! Does he have a dining account at his college? If so, you might just add a specified amount each month for him to use on campus? I did that for my brother to ensure that he would be getting food instead of beer ;) Schwans also delivers frozen food - both ingredients and meals. Alternatively, you could do a variety of gift cards? It's not home cooked food, but could give him some different options.

    Thank you everyone! I will look into some of these. He is actually in his own apartment so he a full kitchen just the lack of knowledge and time to use it haha

    Someone sent us Hello Fresh as a pregnancy gift and honestly, I hated it. It was too much work... Maybe I would have liked it better if I wasn't 36 weeks pregnant and exhausted at the time but if your brother isn't the type to want to make a multiple step meal, I wouldn't recommend it.

    Depending on where you're located, Freshly may be a good option. All meals are shipped in a microwavable container and are actually really good. I was surprised how filling they were, as well! 

    You may need to email them for availability in your area; I know they're rapidly expanding delivery zones.

    I second the Omaha steaks idea. They have way more than just steaks - even lobster and side dishes. If you get a package you get a nice deal and usually you can find a coupon online or in the entertainment book!
