Im LOST after my LOSS :( -- Pregnancy/IVF

I had our 1st FET on (8/20) with my first round of IVF, RE had me on progesterone vag. Inserts & also oral estrogen, I POAS/HPT- BFP! --1st beta was (8/29)@132, 2nd beta was 207 & 3rd beta was 681, started spotting & some red blood bleeding heavier next day after 3rd beta I was told to change to PIO injection then had 4th beta on (9/9) dropped to 81, went to ER yesterday (9/11) from 10am-5:45pm found out I had (incomplete abortion, spontaneous miscarriage, threatened miscarriage) <<terms ER gave me after US, Vag. Ck & blood work which came back with beta @28 so I have my appt with RE on 9/21 (should have been my 1st US) but RE told me over the phone I needed to start PIO injections immediately when trying next FET cycle I still have 5 frozen babies, what I'd like to know is, did any of you start straight away with the PIO injections? Did it make a world of difference? Has anyone has my same experience with just the vag. Inserts? I'm just at a loss right now 
Our 1st fresh cycle(6/24) was a BFN! & this first FET(8/20) was a BFP!! but was it a CHEMICAL pregnancy? (Dr @ ER didn't even know what that was when I asked her!) I started spotting 3 days after my very first beta of 132, should RE have started me on PIO injections right at the brown spotting when I called 3 days after the BETA letting them know of my out of the blue spotting? He gave me the option & I was so scared of the needle so I denied the option but he didn't push it either, now with my loss, IM so LOST could I have saved my babies if I would have injected at the start of the spotting 3 days after 1st beta, Im killing myself wondering & questioning.... ****DH & I have been trying over 10 YEARS! This was our very first BFP! in over 10 years so im sorry if I'm over analyzing & going crazy but I really am at a huge loss I feel as if I've lost my new born child I can't explain it but it hurts so bad & I just want to know what I've done wrong all I want is to be a mom & it's killing me thinking I could have saved my 2 embryos
