    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 27/3??

Timing: trying for EOD the whole month but night shift and harvest are kinda crapping all over that right now.

Testing Plans: going to try wait until the 19th at the very earliest (23rd if possible though).

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: annoyed with this cycle. CM has been weird after how things went last month (prior to that I would get my period exactly 14 days from first day of EWCM.. Now I don't know what's going on). FF says I O'd 3 days ago. Ovia says 10 days ago. Please chart stalk.

GTKY - air plane travel essentials: iPhone and iPad. Ear buds (but I kind of want noise cancelling headphones for our Europe trip next month). A scarf (to double as a blanket). Gravol (air sickness meds).

Edited to attempt to add chart. Fail.

  • Thanks @BreeToll for starting :)

    Cycle:25

    CD/DPO: 27/9

    Timing: -2, O

Testing Plans: today BFN with an FRER that expired in June. Tomorrow w/ a $Store cheapie that expires this month. Tuesday with a good wondfo.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I've got nothing. Just got up to temp & test so I'm going back to sleep for an hour before I have to get up for church...

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Phone charger, blanket scarf, no less than 2 books (what if I finish one?!)

    Me (31) & DH (35) #DFDubClub
    TTC since August 2013 - Break: Jan-June 2014
Everything looks good on me so far.  Going in for U/S in Oct just to be absolutely sure everything is good.
    SA for DH pending.
  • Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: 31/13

    Timing: -2, -4

    Testing Plans: BFNs so far

    Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: meh.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?
The only time I've flown was this past winter and I had DS with me. So my essentials were things hand sanitizer and diapers lol
(It's true, I was 24 during my first flight. We just always drove places lol)

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 22/5

    Timing: -3, -1, +1

    Testing Plans: none yet

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Nothing exciting to report. Already panicking about waking up Tuesday with a huge temp drop and getting AF for yet another 7-day LP. Blah.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? I'm one of those weird people who can fall asleep as soon as the plane starts moving. H hates it. So all I need really is my seat and a warm sweatshirt or sweater. Headphones help.

  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 19/5

    Timing: -2 to +2

Testing Plans: next Sunday, when AF is due

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Looking like a slow rise this cycle, which seems to be the trend based on the last couple....ugh. Alarm went off to temp at 7, and now I'm all annoyed with my chart and can't sleep. Grumpy, party of 1.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?

Kindle, blanket scarf, socks, lip balm, snacks

Long haul: all of the above plus ear plugs, eye mask, neck pillow

@BreeToll: DH and I went to Europe earlier this year. For the long haul flights, holy hell, get at least some good ear plugs and an eye mask. On the overnight flight over, my TV didn't work, and there were 4 families of small children in our area of the plane. So. Much. Screaming. Can't blame the kids because I'm sure they were tired and/or their ears hurt, and the parents were doing all they could. BUT, it was effing loud, and I hated everyone by morning. Moral of the story? Ear. Plugs.
  • @crdo I definitely need to look into an eye mask. Where do you even get those??

    @kateastrophem so many congratulations!
  • Congratulations @katetastrophem!!!

@BreeToll: I've seen them at Target, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, TJ Maxx, and Ulta. They even make ones that don't squish your eyelashes! Hope you have a great trip!
  • @katetastrophem Congratulations!!! :D

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 28/12

    Timing: -3, -2, 0

    Testing Plans: Friday

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: AF is supposed to be here today but I'm not feeling any symptoms yet. I don't usually get many symptoms before she shows up though. I will be using football and yummy food as a distraction today!

Question: I got up at 4:30 to use the bathroom and didn't temp. Then my alarm went off at 5:30 which is when I usually temp but I was in and out of sleep before then. My temp was down slightly from yesterday. I went back to sleep and woke up at 8 and temped again and it was slightly higher then yesterday with a longer stretch of sleep but later than usual. Which temp would you record?

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? At least two books or my kindle, phone charger, sweatshirt, and headphones. I have never been on a flight longer than 5 hours though.

  • Congrats @katetastrophem !!
@BreeToll I have an eye mask from Brookstone and it's amazing. Zero light gets in and it's comfy and you can open your eyes inside. Worth the brookstone $$ for a long flight

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 22/5

    Timing: -5, -4, -2, -1

    Testing Plans: 10dpo

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: the downside of cycle #2 and charting is that with any little thing that's different I'm all "ooh that didn't happen when I wasn't pregnant... maybe that means I'm pregnant!" Yesterday it was the large amount of creamy cm, where I had sticky at 4dpo last month. I might be a crazy person

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Brookstone eye mask, kindle, chargers, snacks and I guess now my bbt thermometer
  • **Lurking from WTO**

    Yay @katetastrophem! H&H 8 months!!!

  • @katie1782 Definitely use the earlier one. It's close enough to when you usually temp and you had a solid stretch of sleep. Your temp rises the later you sleep as your body starts naturally waking. Your 8am temp is too far from your normal waking time plus later so I wouldn't consider that higher temp to be reliable.

Month/Cycle: 4/4 CD/DPO: 29/ I have no idea now.  LOL. My cycle is all over the place, I thought I knew but now leaning toward I was wrong.  I'm not temping yet but I believe based on CM that it was about 2 weeks ago but still BFN so doubt I ovulated then. Timing: 0 (I was in the states and he was here at home and then I had an infection and then husband was on nights and we didn't see each other. That one number looks pathetic. Haha) Testing Plans: period still irregular, so possibly Wednesday or Thursday Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I would really really like my period to regulate! At least give me a fairly reliable estimate as to when I will get af. GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Yoga pants, tshirt, fleece zip up, ear buds, neck pillow, eye mask, book, quest bars Most of my flights include inflight entertainment (thank God!) otherwise I may bring my laptop with shows if it's a longer flight. Eta: congrats @katetastrophem :D And I can't do math

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 22/8

    Timing: -1, 0

Testing Plans: Trying to decide whether it's better to just start testing and bum myself out if it's negative, or wait to test and drive myself crazy every day wondering if it could have been positive. Bah. I want to just test so I can stop obsessing about it, but I'm so sick of seeing negatives.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Had a really hard night last night. I think it's the first time since TTC that I've had a real good cry about it. I know we haven't been trying that long in the grand scheme of things, but I can feel my excitement and positivity decreasing every month. I was ready to start TTC way before DH, so I've been temping and planning and waiting for almost 2 years now, so it makes it feel like it's been forever. Just trying to keep my hopes up and hoping it happens soon!

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Plane socks! I always get cold and it makes me feel more comfy to have a nice big pair of socks. Also snacks, lots of snacks. And a good book or some tv shows or movies to keep me entertained on the long flights.

    Congrats @katetastrophem :)

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

CD/DPO 25/10 (by accident yesterday I said my cd was 23 but it was really 24)

Timing: -8 (I know that, that's too far out for sperm to be around for ovulation), -4, -3,-2,-1, +1

Testing Plans: My original plan was to wait until Sunday 10 DPO, but I caved and got a BFN 9 DPO. Today got another BFN. I'm not sure if I'm going to test anymore or just wait till AF arrives. I'm usually a pretty regular 28 day cycler so I'm supposed to get AF on Thursday the 17th.

Rant/Rave/CS: The exercise was essential to me not being crazed anymore and I need to incorporate it more in my life. I took the BFN pretty well this morning considering a few days ago I was very emotional about the whole idea of not getting pregnant this month. I am starting to regret waiting so long (years) to start trying due to career/financial things.  I think I always had this fantasy that it would be one cycle and done, especially since the women in my family  get pregnant easily, so I waited till it would be the "perfect time" (due date for a sept pregnancy would be ideal for work and transitions)… This is a wake up call in reality it may take some time. If AF comes in 3 days I'll start getting more serious about TTC get the book, opk, and temp. I'm grateful that I found this site and board to help through this time.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? My own blanket, neck pillow, noise cancellation headphones, and my iPad. I always get cold too, no matter what time of year it is. I also bring snacks, because airplane is usually terrible even when I've flown first class on occasion.

  • Congrats @katetastrophem, so awesome!

    Month/Cycle: 1

    CD/DPO: 18/5

    Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1, 0

Testing Plans: Friday at 10 dpo.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I've been working all weekend so it's been so blah. Counting down till testing time!

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Ear phones, candy, Ipad with books, head rest pillow.
  • @katetastrophem Congratulations! I'm so stinking happy for you!

@hboaz I had my first TTC meltdown a couple weeks ago, I totally understand. Deep breaths!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 24/8

    Timing: -3, -2, -1, 0

    Testing Plans: None right now

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: We were over at my BIL and his fiancées house last night and she was talking about when they wanted kids (which was fine but they don't know we are TTC - at least officially, they know we want kids). She was talking about how she doesn't understand why some people "try" to have kids and if they just "relaxed" it would happen. She then told me that she knew when she ovulated each month because she had a cramp on one side. She asked me if I experienced the same thing and I said "I usually attribute it to gas" and then went on to tell her the only way you know you are ovulating is if you are taking your BBT and she looked at me like I was crazy.

So basically, it upset me and hurt my feelings that she said this but since she doesn't know we are TTC, I felt like there was much I could say. But I had to walk away and breathe for a minute. I mean, if all I have to do is relax??

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?
Yoga pants, long sleeve shirt, magazine, book, chapstick
  • @katetastrophem Congrats!!

    Month/Cycle: 4/2

    CD/DPO: 44/7

    Timing: -4,-1

    Testing Plans: Thursday 11 DPO

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Doing good today. This month has been great for BFP so I hope I get to keep up with the trend.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? I always have my camera and laptop in one carry on. And in the other I have a small plush blanket, fuzzy socks. I can curl up, get warm and fall asleep before the plane takes off. If I can't sleep then I resort to my entertainment of a trashy magazine and maybe some knitting.

  • @katetastrophem Congratulations!!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 19/5

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, 1, 2

Testing Plans: waiting another week, but for some reason I believe I'm out this month

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: none at the moment, but am anxious to see what my temps are like during the next few days.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Kindle, and a bag of candy. Also a pair of noise cancelling head phones

  • @kateastrophem Congrats!

    Month/Cycle: 5/6

    CD/DPO: 20/8

    Timing: -2, O, +1

Testing Plans: Today was a BFN so I'm going to try again Tuesday

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I sort of assumed I wouldn't have to "try" this time because I didn't try for my other 3. I just decided, "ok, it's baby time" and then was pregnant. Lol. So this time I am having to admit that this is work and I am getting older.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Comfy clothes, a blanket and neck pillow, a book, and healthy snacks.
  • Congratulations, @katetastrophem!!!

    Month/Cycle: 7/8

    CD/DPO: 18/5

    Timing: -4, -2, 0

Testing Plans: Next Sunday, 12 DPO

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Nothing really. Pretty boring cycle, but that's fine with me! I woke up to take my temp, but then immediately fell back asleep and ended up taking my temp over an hour later, but I really don't want to tell that to FF...

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Kindle, DS (Nintendo, not son :) ), bird book (since wherever I'm traveling to I'm going to be looking for new birds), headphones, chargers, sweater

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?  Love this question as I used to travel overseas a ton for work and had my plane ride essentials down to a science.  I always wore maxi dresses with leggings underneath and a long sweater on the plane because I was always freezing once we reached cruising altitude.  Must have's included my noise cancelling headphones (worth every penny), ID and credit card so I could buy booze, iPhone and iPad for entertainment along with their chargers, gum, a neck pillow, socks, glasses/contact case for when I wanted to sleep, and a small hairbrush, mascara and lip gloss so I at least didn't look like a zombie coming off the plane.

    Month/Cycle: 6

    CD/DPO: 20/3 I'm here!!!! Yay!!!

    Timing: -3,-1,+1

Testing Plans: 10dpo and on. Wondfos=pee on all the things. I didn't make it past 9 last time before AF, so I really hope to get past that. I do think FF was wrong and O was earlier though.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I swear I felt O pain this time, like a sharp twinge. And maybe it's just in my head, but it did line up with my temps. I didn't sleep well at all last night, so I'm hoping that temp spike is real. Chart is weird, with o in the middle of an increase in temp, but it was last month too, so maybe that's my normal.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?
Books, trashy gossip/Cosmo magazines, gum, snacks, iPhone, light jacket. I LOVE to travel!
On our last flight to Europe though, the AC broke in our section and it felt like we were almost cooked alive. Not so fun, but had a great time when we got there!

    Timing: -4,-2,-1,0

    Testing Plans: 10 DPO.

    Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:

Rant: nothing really just a little confused about my temp this morning.

Rave: Love that my temps keep going up! Trying not to get my hopes up though.

Question- This morning when I took my temp after about 5 hours of good sleep I first got 97.60. Not sure why but I decided to test again immediately after and I got 97.90. So then I was completely confused and tested one more time to see if I would get one of the two temps I had already but nope. It jumped all the way up to 98.14. I put 97.90 on my chart but I'm not sure if I did the right thing. I tried to attach my chart to my signature. We will see if I did it right I'm still trying to figure it out.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?

Dramamine, comfy clothes, neck pillow, SNACKSSS, and some form of entertainment to take my mind of things long enough to put me to sleep :)

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: My chart is looking good, but just have to wait to keep waiting. Cautiously optimistic that my LP will be longer than the 7 days I had last cycle since I haven't had spotting yet, so that alone excites me.  That and O'ing a full week earlier than the last two cycles are making me feel like my body is working itself out.

I know how you feel @hboaz.  This is only month 4 of actively trying again for me, but from when we first started trying, to getting a BFP, to a MMC, to a break from trying to now, it's pushing two years and it can be frustrating.  Hang in there!!

Congrats @katetastrophem!!!! How exciting! Love the reveal idea!
    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 19/3

    Timing: -3, -1, 0

Testing Plans: I'm waiting it out. Until at least 12dpo

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Well I got CH this morning so I moseyed on over to TWW. I'm happy with our timing, it's better than the previous cycles. ETA: I've already started SS. Which is stupid this early, but I can't help it.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials? Snacks...lots of snacks. Headphones and magazines and Victoria Secret sweats.

    Timing: -3, -2, -1, 0

Testing Plans: trying to hold out to 10 DPO at least

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: FF moved my crosshairs this morning and moved O to the day I originally expected it, so timing feels better but I'm confused.

GTKY: What are your air plane travel essentials?
Dramamine, neck pillow, and headphones so I can listen to music until I fall asleep.
