I love our keekaroo changing pad. It just needs wiped down Also the orbit stroller system and bassinet. Cloud B Tranquil Starfish sound machine. Thirsties cloth wipes & duo wrap diapers. My Brest friend nursing pillow. A&A swaddle blankets. 4-moms play yard/bassinet. Nuna Leaf.
Love: 1. Love to Dream swaddles - My little guy likes to have his arms by his face and this swaddle lets him do that without waking himself up all the time. 2. Rock N Play - He doesn't like the motion or vibration but he sleeps in this next to my bed and I really think the elevation has helped his reflux. Plus it is super light so we take it with us to grandma's house! 3. Aden + Anais blankets - I don't actually use these for swaddling but they are so soft and I snuggle him in them during the day and he loves it. 4. Triple Paste - This stuff is amazing for preventing diaper rash! I noticed his butt getting a little red and used this and it cleared up immediately. 5. Uppababy Vista travel system - A little expensive but so maneuverable and easy to use. I can't wait to take him for more walks when the weather finally cools down. Nate loves his Mesa car seat and falls asleep almost every car ride. Honorable mention: Diaper Genie, Earth Mama Nipple Butter, Boppy and Boppy Newborn Lounger
Don't love: 1. Mamaroo - He hasn't been a huge fan of this yet but I am still holding out hope that he will change his mind. 2. Pacifier - The only time he will take one is when we are riding in the car. He does like the Soothie the best, though.
Haven't even used: Wipe warmer, bottle sterilizer, cool mist humidifier
My boppy is our best friend. I use it for every feeding. She loves regular receiving blankets to be swaddled in, but im the only oragami pro in my house so im waiting on my woombies to arrive for DH to be able to swaddle her without having to get me. Hopefully she will start taking a bottle better soon and he can pull a night shift without having to get me since he will have the wombie to just zip her up in!!

#5, sooooooo worth the price tag for the travel system and car seat though! Rides and glides like a dream. Truly a rolls Royce of the strollers.
Love- Dr . Brown's bottles, kozi bottle warmer, Carter's newborn gowns, belly bandit, halo sleep sack/a and a swaddle/miracle blanket swaddle, maxi cosi car seat (so light and easy to clean), boob-ease therapy pillows (serious game changer for me) and lamb tummy time mat
Haven't used our swing, bath tub, rock and play, crib, changing table
I am also VERY happy with my spectra 2 hospital grade pump
Her rocking chair/bassinet has been AMAZING! She loves it! She is finally warming up to her swing. I have to put a folded blanket under her butt bc she's so tiny and sits weird otherwise. Nuk bottles are her FAVORITE! She'll take whatever you give her, but she takes the Nuk bottles so much better.
A&A blankets are still the best thing ever. I now have 13 of them and go through them so fast...
Rock n' play was a new purchase for this baby... Love it!!
PPB Boxy Backpack - still the best
Englacha Junior X-Rider - $99 converted my stroller into a double and my toddler loves her "motorcycle" seat, and strangers think it is cool. Great purchase.
Stuff I haven't used much this time: - moby wrap (worn 2x so far) - boppy (prefer a square toss pillow) - anything NB size (too small) - pacifiers (unnecessary) - SwaddleMe (small, basic style)
FTM here so here is what I think is great and not so great...
RAVES: - Boppy Newborn Lounger (helps to put baby down to bond, baby can Look around for a few minutes, etc.)
- Pack n Play (for naps, changes, etc) It's probably essential as we keep this in our family room
- Gerbers Burp Cloths (Didn't realize babies needed so many wipe downs for spit ups!)
- HALO bassinet swivel sleeper. Since you can see through the mesh walls I can sleep at night being able to see him throughout the night next to the bed. Best purchase ever. And the side of bassinet allows me to pull down for easier access to get him.
- Summer Infant swaddle pod. My son likes to flail his arms so he often wakes himself from naps during the day and sometimes at night. We tried the halo sleep sack but it was too constricting, so he likes feeling coZy but not quite straight jacket. The pod allows him to move his arms on his chest without breaking them out and waking himself up! He's less fussy now that he's sleeping. And his mom and dad too.
Love: Rock & Play, Swaddle Me's (it took a few tries because she's obsessed with having her hands near her head, but we just have to get it REALLY tight), Pampers, Fisher Price Bath Tub, My Breast Friend pillow, Pack & Play for various parts, she is finally coming around to her bouncer and her most favorite thing of all time.....her changing table pad!?!?! The second we put her on it for changing her diaper or outfit, she gets in this calm, happy baby zone and just becomes totally zen. We call it the sedation pad, haha.
Hates: Pacifiers, her huge, plush, beautiful swing.
Best: puj sink tub, swaddle up & woombie, a+a muslin swaddles (our babe has to be swaddled....he loves it), mamaroo has been a lifesaver, baby gowns (makes middle of the night changes SO easy), my woven wrap (stretchy wraps are just not tight enough) & dohm sound machine. Worst: infant car seat (hate hate hate it, but that's a me thing, I just wish the convertible we originally wanted to use would have worked better) & bassinet.
Mom of one toddler boy, with another BOY on the way. Life is exciting traveling being active duty & a wife.
We LOVE our bouncer it's the only place LO will let me put him down during the day. We also love our swing (even with the batteries dead and if not swinging anymore LO likes to sleep in it at night). LO weirdly loves his car seat (graco snug and ride 35) and I love the click connect stroller because it turns super easy and folding and unfolding is super easy. The front wheel can also lock so it becomes a jogging stroller. Our swaddle blankets!!!! LO loves to be swaddled. After seeing how many people love it I really want a baby k'tan lol.
The biggest waste has been the bassinet it was gift but it has become a glorified wardorbe (we throw clean baby clothes in it and diapers and wipes for thr night). LO simply won't lay in it.
This is my third baby and I had gotten rid of most baby items after my second was born. I didn't want to load up on pointless baby items for this last one. We loved (all three times, only nursed this one though) the boppy, and a swing that is also a bouncer that we borrowed from a friend has been great. We skipped the baby bath this time around for sure. We did splurge on an arms reach cosleeper that attaches to the bed and I've loved that. She also loves mam pacifiers the most. Sometimes in the stores I walk by all the latest and greatest baby gear they have and it looks so cool, but I just can't see investing in something temporary like most of the things are, for the last baby.
Re: Now that baby's here what's your favorite gear?
