Halloween Costume Ideas?

Hey mommas! I just realized that Halloween is right around the corner, so I started brainstorming some costume ideas for me and my daughter who will be 3 months old by then.
I'm thinking of doing a magician and bunny pair costume or a ringmaster and lion pair for me and my baby, lol. But I'm trying to be a little more creative than that and hoping I can do something that hasnt been seen online yet.
Anyways, what're your ideas for Halloween? Are you and baby gonna dress up!!?

My son (age 6) wants to be Darth Vader. He's dead set on his sister (born August 2nd) being a stormtrooper. I think I'll get her a little giraffe outfit for the day, and a stormtrooper for trick or treating. That way, we're both satisfied.

Last year, he was Optimus Prime and I was Bumblebee. The year before we were pirates. One year, we were lions.

My daughter wanted to name the baby dragon or shark, so I was thinking of making one of those the baby's Halloween costume as a way to keep that memory.

DD1 will be 3 here soon and wants to be Cinderella. DH and I only dress up if we're attending a party and usually do a couple's costume. We don't dress up to trick or treat or hand out candy on beggar's night though.

I saw an idea on Pinterest that I thought of modifying. It was originally a baby in a stroller that was made to look like a boat and the baby was dressed as the captain from Jaws. They had a shark balloon tied to the stroller but I would love to dress DD up as the shark. I'm not a Jaws fan. I have honestly never seen it but I still thought it was super cute. Last year, DD was just starting to walk so we dressed her up like an old lady and DH made her a little walker. It was super cute but she didn't tolerate the wig I made at all and so we ended up with zero pictures.

DH wants to dress in Renaissance faire attire. So he will be a knight, I will be a lady, & DD will be warm & cuddly as a dragon :-B

DH wants to dress DD up as a turtle. She's been making very turtle-like faces since she was born, and that has become her nickname. So it's either a turtle or a burrito. It's my choice, but I have to choose between the two.

I honestly couldn't care less about Halloween but whatever. Turtles are cute.

I love Halloween, and I'm dying to dress up DD (and myself) but hubby's not into it.

Last year I saw this adorable strawberry costume that I loved, who knows what I'll find this year. There's not really anywhere in this small town I could take DD which sucks. I wanted to have a little get together at our house for Halloween but again, hubby's not into it. He sucks.

I just got on Pinterest because now I'm thinking about it and there are so many amazing ideas. We may go with DD as cruella deville and DS as a Dalmatian puppy. Or little red riding hood and a wolf. Or the man (girl) in the yellow hat and a monkey. I love Halloween now that I have kids I get to dress up. I know it won't be long before they are choosing their own costumes but for now I'm going to just love it!

I've been struggling with this since before she was born. I wanted to have her be an ewok but I can't find anything online for an infant. Now I'm moving toward her being a black cat and I can be a witch. If I was crafty I'd totally make her an ewok though and do a star wars theme

Have you tried looking on Etsy? I found an infant stormtrooper onesie on there.

We dont do much on Halloween. We are in MA and the weather is too chilly to take a toddler out IMO. Since DS won't be in daycare yet, I'm torn with how much effort I Wil put into it,but the ideas on this thread have me leaning towards doing it . Now I just have to find a Halloween party to bring them to

DD1, 3yr old wants to be an oompah loompah from Willy Wonka. So thinking about DH being willy Wonka, DD1 and DD2 oompah loompah and I'll dress as Violet who turns into a blueberry!

Right now the plan is for the whole family to be the Incredibles. My boyfriend would be Mr Incredible, I'd be the mom, my daughter is Violet, DS1 is Dash and DS2 is JackJack.... we will see if we can find a red onesie or JackJack costume for DS2.

We are doing Alice in Wonderland

my 8 year old will be Alice , baby will be the white rabbit , hubby will be the mad hatter and I will be the red queen. We haven't gotten any farther than the idea though !

We are both going to be Minnie Mouse. LO got a really cute hand knitted Minnie Mouse outfit as a baby shower gift so I am going to dress her in that & put a Minnie Mouse costume together for myself. I'm trying to talk her dad into being Mickey Mouse
