Symptoms you are NOT having?

Hi Ladies!  I thought it would be fun to do a backwards symptom thread.  List the symptoms you do not have :)

My boobs are not sore AT ALL.  For some reason this worries me a little because with DS they were so painful I could cry.  I also have very little nausea, but I know this can start at any time :)

Re: Symptoms you are NOT having?

  • No morning sickness or nausea.
Not overly exhausted. I'll get sleepy in the afternoon for an hour, but not crazy exhausted.

I know that it's still early and these symptoms could still show up, but I have hope. All I've got are kinda sore, bigger boobs that needed a bigger bra, some mood swings (which may not even be pregnancy-related knowing me), and insomnia.

  • Don't stress too much!  I know several people that never got sick that had perfectly healthy pregnancies!  (But I TOTALLY understand what you are saying!  I rechecked my tests the other day too!)

No nausea/food cravings/food aversions. Trying to take advantage while it lasts and eat as well as I can! But somehow symptoms seem to make it more "real," so I do feel a little worried that I don't have symptoms. I know, dumb!

ETA: @yogahh I could have written your post myself. I feel the exact same way...and I, too, am also aware of the m/c research on morning sickness. :(

  • No morning sickness, food aversions, or sensitivity to smells. With DD I never had morning sickness or nauseau so I'm hoping it will be the same this time around.
  • I'm pretty lucky right now just sea sickness from time to time but my doctor said it's till early for me, my blood test came out great, I'm perfect and where I need to be but she did say some times it doesn't hit women till 8th or 10th week.

  • My boobs are not sore or tender at all, and so far I'm not experiencing much in the way of mood swings. But I definitely have a lot of other symptoms that I didn't with my first pregnancy. :((

Nothing for me. I did feel a little nauseous today when one of my clients at work threw up in front of me but I'm pretty sure that had nothing to do with the pregnancy.
  • No morning sickness. Hoping I don't experience it at all.

  • I don't have any morning sickness or nausea either! Totally feel yogahh on her sentiments. Outside of being extremely tired and a bunch of positive tests. Counting the days until my first appointment next Thursday to get some sort of thumbs up from the doctor!
  • I also don't have morning sickness and it makes me worried! Not that I want it...but I do a little? Just to make it feel as real as possible. So I totally get what you are saying @yogahh! My mother had hyperemesis which she thinks was mostly psychological since she was homesick in a foreign country, and I don't want that, but I could deal with some nausea! (Cue regret a few weeks from now)
  • Missing pretty much all the symptoms, aside from the most obvious lack of menstruation. No morning sickness (not even queasy, except during that one headache, and that always happens) or fatigued-- tired when restless legs and abysmally hot nights won't let me sleep, but that's pretty normal. No breast tenderness or growth either. Just a lot of potty trips so far.
  • I remember during my first pregnancy I didn't have any symptoms the whole 9 months. My DS is 14 now. Just consider yourselves REALLY lucky!
  • I initially had the nausea bad. Before I even tested but now its backed off and no breast soreness here. Waiting anxiously for first ultrasound to confirm there is a baby in there.
  • I haven't had any symptoms either. I don't feel any different at all! The only thing that is different is that there are two lines on the pregnancy test rather than 1! LOL I'm so excited though! And I can't wait to go to my first doctor visit. But I completely agree with you ladies above me that admit you do want the sickness...just a little bit...I feel the exact same way!! I assume it's still a little early and around week 5-7 I'll start feeling like I wish I never said that! Congrats on your babies everyone!
  • I don't have any morning sickness or fatigue.  I'm not peeing frequently.  My boobs are a little sore, I'm a little bloated, and I have some cramping.  That's it for me!
  • No morning sickness...I anticipated my boobs feeling way worse but they're only tender when I touch them (at times). Just super tired but I'm sure I have my 3 year old to credit for that!
  • I just have to say this is my favorite thread. Seeing that I'm not alone in not having any major symptoms is reassuring. I don't even know if I can express how apprehensive I feel because of the lack of symptoms. I'm trying not to think about it too much but it's hard not to. Everyday I ask DH "do you think I'm pregnant". So much so that I'm tempted to test again this weekend just to be 7 times sure. I am a mess.

  • @yogahh I love it too!!! I am virtually symptom free and it was driving me crazy! It's so nice to see people in the same boat as me

  • @yogahh and @MrsPrice519 I was just talking to my bf about how I wasn't experiencing symptoms. This made me feel a lot better. I recent experienced a MC in May but I also know it's early. Sometimes I feel nauseous and I've been sleeping ally but I feel like it's me overthinking it. I love this thread.

@mslan I'm so sorry about your loss :(. I'm glad you find this thread helpful like we do! Congrats and here's to a happy and healthy 9 months.

  • Oh so glad I'm not the only one. :) I have no nausea, no constipation, no significant fatigue, not peeing any more than usual. All I have is sore boobs, occasional cramps/aching in my abdomen, and about 20 positive pregnancy tests. My mom always got terrible morning sickness before anything else, so I've been expecting it, but nada. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for wanting to be sick, but I had an early loss right before this pregnancy, so I would welcome any new indication that there's a growing baby in there! I'm completely paranoid abut losing this one too. But I'm only 5w3d, so there's time for it to kick in, I'm sure. :)
  • I'm 6w4d and don't have morning sickness at all. I just have sore boobs and I'm sleepy all the time!
  • Totally agree with @yogahh's sentiments.

Yesterday and today I asked DH if I should buy a digital test just to be sure since I'm not nauseous yet, no sore boobs, or fatigue. I have been peeing like crazy, and have had some cramping each day since testing though. The cramping and lack of other symptoms keeps messing with my head and making fear the worst.

  • I am 3w5d and I have No symptoms either (had some cramping but it seems to have stopped) except sore nips, some gas and the constant need to pee! I guess it's still early - if I hadn't had 6BFPs and my bloodwork (on Thursday) hadn't shown an HCG level of 1200 and a progesterone level of 14 I would have seriously doubted I was pregnant!
  • I'm at 7 weeks (based on LMP), but I'm most likely around 6 weeks due to late ovulation. Still no symptoms other than sore boobs - I've talked to a few friends and most said they didn't get hit with nausea until 8-9 weeks. I think we're all early enough (or lucky!) to just not have symptoms yet :)
  • I'm 7 weeks and the only one I'm not having is morning sickness. Which is the only one I had with my daughter!

  • Hmmm symptoms I'm not having..... well given it is still a bit early for me since I found out a lot earlier than last time, my list will probably be temporary.  I understand that symptoms can pop up at anytime.
So I don't have a super sensitive sniffer
    I don't have morning sickness
Actually to make this easier let me just say that the only thing I have right now is the sore boobs, super moody, and peeing all the dang time. I don't have the other stuff yet.  It's weird b/c the past few months after the mc I'd get every pregnancy symptom in the book before AF would come.   This time not so much.

  • Do you think it's a boy? I haven't been sick and I wasn't with my son!
  • I wasn't sick once with my son and I had a healthy pregnancy and a very healthy baby! Don't believe everything you read it will drive you crazy!
  • No vomiting...
  • I have no symptoms except for a missing period, positive pregnancy test, and a little ute cramping from stretching. Hopefully this pregnancy is as uneventful as my first.

  • Not having any type of sickness, which I hope continues. :D only symptom right now is my boobs super sore all the time.
  • I'm exactly 4 weeks and my only symptoms were cramping, sore boobs, lots of peeing, and some minor waves of nausea. I know it's too early to get symptoms, so we'll see what comes down the pipeline!
  • So far no nausea or morning sickness. Breast pain has also been diminishing. MC two years ago so I've been extra worried this time around. This is my first real seeming pregnancy.
  • I'm 5w1d and just have sore boobs (only when I press on them). No nausea or morning sickness, fingers crossed it stays this way :)
  • No morning sickness but i definitely have tender titties.. also wasnt really peeing so much but today im peeing a lot. I do have lots of cramping and periot type pain though which worries me. Trying to find a thread on cramping to see if anyone else relates. Im 6 weeks 6 days today
  • @mslan: I had a MC in May as well.
I've been so nervous the past two days because I've barely been feeling anything. I keep trying to remind myself that I'm only 4 weeks so I'm just praying that it's just a sign of a better pregnancy. So glad to hear I'm not alone in worrying about lack of symptoms!!
@babyviso I know it's really early, but I have a hunch it's going to be a boy. Maybe you're on to something!
  • Has anyone's symptoms changed? I'm 5 1/2 weeks and I'm still feeling relatively good. Which is AWESOME as long as everything is going well with LO. Just under 2 weeks till we see what's going on in there. I'm just still so nervous because of the loss we had back in the spring. My progesterone levels were really good so I'm trying to stay positive!
