Just now...woke up from a very nice dream I was in the hospital, had our baby (beautiful baby girl btw), took her home, and tried nursing her for the first time without a nurse to help me.
February Siggy Challenge- Post pregnancy indulgences
Before I found out I was pregnant, I had a dream I was at my in laws house. There was no place for me to sit so I was kneeling on the floor. I had the sudden urge to tell them the wonderful news that I was gonna have a baby (mind you, still didn't know yet). Then my SIL knelt down beside me and announced she was having another baby.
Real life, the next day we found out my SIL is due in December, and a few days later I took a test. I always had a feeling she was pregnant, but she wouldn't say anything.

If it makes a difference, when I was pregnant with my son, I decided to tell my family at Christmas dinner. I get there and there is a cake with congrats to my older sister for being pregnant. Lol. Then I read it and say out loud, "not sure who made the cake but you got the wrong sister down". Then my brother shows up when I said that, reads the cake and goes, "yeah, it should have my wife's name". Yeah 3 siblings all with babies on the way.
I kid you not last night I dreamed that I was breastfeeding 6 kittens that were mine. I fed 3 of them and the theY left then I wasn't sure how I would remember who ate and who didnt.

Had a crazy dream that MIL, FIL, SIL, and SILs new boyfriend (whom I've never met) showed up at our house with 50 members of the new BFs family, and they threw a party. They let everyone camp in our backyard and everyone was super rude and were mean to our dogs (don't mess with my pooches!). Turns out I was a pro UFC fighter and started beating the crap out of every one who refused to leave. It was awesome! Now I really want to take some karate classes or something!
Mine are recurring dreams that seem to be always about going into labor and/or having my water break when dh is out on a call (his second job is as a on call/pay by the run firefighter for our area). There is nothing cool about the fear about going into labor with him gone like that since runs can last hours, likely no one will be at the station so I would have to call dispatch, & frankly, my daughter was born via induction with my water never breaking on its own meaning she was born less then five minutes after my water was broken- I don't want dh's collegues delivering my second/this child especially since i am friends with most of them!!!
Last night I had a dream that Mike Rowe was trying to seduce me. (I do think he's very handsome and witty IRL). We were lying in some room and he started kissing me and I realized he wanted to have sex, and even though I really wanted to, I didn't want to cheat on my husband - I told him I was married. He tried to convince me, and we both got frustrated and left. In the next scene, there's Matt Smith, trying the same thing. I know I need to get out of there bc as much as I love my husband, seriously - oh my word, the Eleventh Doctor. I noticed that David Tennant was following along behind him, looking really exhausted. I think I woke myself up; wish I hadn't though, bc I don't consider dream sex cheating haha!
I dreamt I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl... and so did my sister (she is not pregnant nor is she even trying). Our babies were perfect, except for one thing--they were conjoined twins! How two separate women gave birth to conjoined twins, I don't know, but fortunately they were only conjoined by a few inches of skin on the sides of their heads, like if you touch two melting marshmallows together and they stick together. One tiny "operation" later, our babies were separated! Yay!
At least it was a happy dream. Before I had dreamt I gave birth at 9 weeks and had to care for a tiny, 1 inch long baby, that I promptly put in my pocket and forgot about.
I keep dreaming about food: like every dream has me eating food. The other night I dreamed that I ate a big Mac and went into labor. I gave birth to a 6 month old, crawling baby girl that looked just like one of my nieces (as in it looked like I gave birth to my niece when she was 6 months old). I was so happy to have a beautiful baby girl but pretty annoyed that I didn't get to see her learn to crawl. I was sleeping while my mom watched her crawl across the hospital nursery.
I have been having tons of weird dreams! Usually I don't remember my dreams but now I do and some are just ridiculous and scary!
I dreamed that I was in a Sons of Anarchy type situation where someone had stolen a lot of money, so the guys were holding him face down on the ground and held his hands out. First I was the steam roller driver and was running over his hands one finger at a time. But somewhere in the middle I switched roles and was the person getting his fingers crushed. I felt one break and I woke up screaming. I have had broken bones/fingers before so reliving what that felt like was very frightening. My chest even tightened up and I felt I was being suffocated once I was awake. That has to be the worst one I remember having. I still have dreams and I remember them when I wake up, but by breakfast I forget what they were. This one just stuck with me.

So last night I dreamt that I was on the massive (and unrealistically large) cruise ship. I was about to tell all of my friends that I was pregnant, but the walked into the sauna and the doors SLAMMED in my face and I was just stuck outside of the doors crying.
Then, my acquaintance's (like seriously, we aren't even friends!) SUPER douchy husband was chasing me around the boat, punching me and trying to steal all of my food. I woke up crying, yelling his name and my DH was just staring at me and asked "Why the hell are you dreaming about XXX?" He was so confused.
I had a dream last night that my husband and I bought a house in a really rough neighborhood. Well people kept breaking in through the roof and stealing stuff. So we hired a security company and they put two giant helmets on the roof to keep people from getting in.
Last night I dreamt that I took my students to a Chinese restaurant but the staff there were extremely rude to us all and tried to make me be the waitress. Then I woke up and realised it was 7.22 and I'm supposed to be at work at seven and it's twenty minutes away. I woke up my husband and was freaking at him because it was the first day back at school and I was in a panic! Then I sat on the bed and then I woke up for real and it was like 4 am. A dream within a dream. So surreal!!
I had two violent dreams in a row. Don't read if you're affected by stuff like this...
First dream--I was holding a large Chef's knife because a bad guy was approaching me and wanted to kill me. I just held it in front of me to keep him away, and he walked slowly into it, looking at me in the eye the whole time, essentially killing himself. Awful!!
Second dream--husband was trying to cut the baby out of me! Then I realized it couldn't be my husband--he loved me and the baby! And it turned into a bad guy. Gruesome!
I always heard people have strange dreams when pregnant, and now I believe it. Almost every night I have some crazy dream and I've never really remembered my dreams at all before this. Last night I dreamed I lived in this creepy old house and people were holding an exorcism and there was this old scary witch lady who was evil... I woke up with my heart pounding, and I'm not one who is easily scared. I must be watching too much Supernatural!

I've been binge watching Ghost Whisperer on Netflix...sure enough, I gave birth to Aiden in my dream. He was seeing ghosts everywhere and freaking me out lol.

I had a dream that I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and when I was trying to breast-feed her, hospital security cane in and took my baby away. They were going to adopt her out! IRL, I got pregnant in high school and was forced by my parents to put the baby up for adoption. So I think I am reliving this fear, even though I am a responsible adult now.
I dreamed that I found a portal and an alternate world. I then met a really cute and nice guy. Turned out he was security for an evil king. The king had me kidnapped and made me a slave so I had to clean his castle. But the nice guy helped me escape back to our world. A few months later I came back, dressed as a messenger and lead the guy, along with his dog, to our world. I lived with my mom and she got mad at me for bringing home a strager. But for some reason she didn't mind that I was gone for 2 months while I was a slave. Ever wonder if we should write books about our dreams? Edited for some spelling (I am a horrible speller)

Has anyone else had dreams about having a miscarriage? I had a dream a few nights ago that I had one, and then last night I had a dream that I was bleeding everywhere (in this dream, I was not pregnant and it was more like a period that I didn't realize I had started)... I had a MC in March and I know I'm worried about having another one... I hope that's where these dreams are coming from.
I've started having the crazy weird dreams in the past couple weeks. One night I dreamt DH and I were about to have a threesome with some random chick, but I decided I couldn't do it and told him to just have fun and walked out of the room. As we were arguing about it later and he was trying to explain that nothing happened with her, someone broke into our apartment and robbed us at gun point. I woke up hyperventilating and kind of freaked DH out, he was half asleep still and wasn't sure if I was choking or not.
A few nights later I had a dream that we were about to have a threesome with a girl we used to work with (whom is engaged with a child of her own).
Never once have I wanted to try a threesome. Never. Guessing it's that increased libido kicking in? Haha.
I'm glad I saw this thread because it just reminded me of my dream last night.
My chocolate lab was on hooked up to a run in a wooded campground area when all of the sudden a bear came running out of the woods and my dog was running right at it as well. I ran toward the run and yanked him back and proceeded to WRESTLE the bear. When I came to (in the dream) my husband was there and told me it was the most epic fight ever until I ran into a spider's nest that exploded and I passed out then they had to shoot the bear.
Seriously dream me? Badass enough to fight a bear but too scared of spiders to finish it?
Also I just read the part in A Storm of Swords (Game of Thrones) where Brienne was fighting the bear so that explains a little.
I had a dream last night where myself and everyone I knew had turned into seals and I owned a shop that sold fish. We were all really divided some people wanted a cure to turn back into humans but a lot of us were happy staying as seals. Woke up like wtf! So realistic!
I had a bad dream last night. I was at a beautiful resort on an island with my husband. They had a very successful fortune teller. We hired her and she looked like a crazy woman. She told me "you are 3 month pregnant but the baby in you is dead". It was horrible!! All night I tried to find a hospital on this small island and I was crying non stop. I am still worried a little even though I know it's just a dream.
I usually have nightmares these days, one night a stranger made me fall on my stomach, sometimes I run from people, tonight my cousin got flue and she keep talking to my face and I was worrying about to get sick!!?? Oh gosh stupid dreams
My dream from last night: I dreamed I was in south aAmerica on a cocoa bean farm. I was picking cocoa beans and eating them but as I was the insides were actual candy chocolate! Best. Dream. EVER!!!

I've been seeing so many brand new itty bitty squishy babies posted by friends on fb, so I've been getting excited about having an itty bitty.
A few nights ago I dreamed about going into labor but when the baby came out he was as big as our toddler, with black hair, thick bushy eyebrows, and a huge mouth full of teeth that stuck straight out. We couldn't put him into the cute going home outfit, so we had to put him into some of our LO's toddler clothes.
ETA I'm so ready to be done with these cracked out crazy dreams. Bring on the wild sex dreams...
I dreamed we were robbed, the robbers were nice and left a note of everything they took, the cops wouldn't believe me because of the note. In the end, we got everything replaced and we got an apology letter from the robbers as aparently they had robbed the wrong house.
I've always been a VIVID dreamer, think sea turtles in Alaska at summer camp or rescuing a whale from a movie theater, but my mama dreams have been horrible and heart breaking. The first one I had I was on a bomb squad with my coworkers from the vets office, we were in charge of placing a bomb to blow up the planet we were on because it was overrun with parasites. I was setting up the bomb and when I plugged it in I realized it had been set wrong and we only had sixty seconds to get out instead of 60 hours to evacuate everyone to Mars. So only my team and I escaped to Mars with nothing but ourselves, when I got there I realized my boyfriend hadn't gone to work on Mars that day and my rational brain tried to tell me the explosion wasn't big enough to have destroyed the planet but the dream took over and told me he was dead and I kept trying to text him just praying he would say anything. I woke up bawling hysterically and made him call me at 4 am (he works in another state) so I could make double sure he was alive.
Last night I was cast in the new marvel movie as the hands of the Hulk, not the rest of the Hulk just the hands so I was in charge of Hulk smash. I think you all know what an absolute honor this is. Anyway it turns out that they didn't need me that the guy playing the rest of the Hulk could do my part. I was waiting around trying to do my role and he was doing it everytime, so they let me go. I woke up from that dream with tears in my eyes. And I was like seriously pregnant woman pull yourself together you are being ridiculous.

Last night I had the worst dream. In it, I started bleeding and they determined that I had a SCH that had caused full placental abruption. By the time they'd discovered it, I'd lost the baby. It was horrible. I spent the next hour poking my belly trying to make my little man move (he did not oblige). I hate pregnancy dreams sometimes.
My husband and I surf... So lasts dream was of us surfing with friends. We spotted a few sharks and decided to stay out surfing a bit longer, next thing I know, I'm waking up in our bed and there's a shark in it! It wasn't moving so I reached out and touched it. All of a sudden it sprung to life and it put its mouth somewhat gently around my head. I stayed very still and thought "phew! Glad he didn't my belly!" And as soon as he let go I pushed him onto the floor. That's when I half way woke up!
A few moments later my husband came into the room and I screamed, "don't let the dog in, there's a shark on the floor!" And then I realized I was awake and it was a dream and I was crazy. Lol
So in my dream, when I went to go get pregnant, it wasn't by my husband, I went to a local store where they asked me what kind of baby I wanted, a baby human or a baby animal? I was nervous about parenting a child, so I opted for a kitten. The kitten took, and I began growing it. But then I realized halfway into my pregnancy I really wanted a human baby instead, so when my kitten was born healthy I was super upset.
When I woke up I had to remind myself that I saw the ultrasound and my real life baby was definitely human...
