When to seek fertility testing?

October will mark 1 year that my husband and I have been TTC. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage Jan 2015 at 8 weeks. My second pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks on Father's Day, tragically. I just turned 26 this week, I'm healthy and extremely frustrated, depressed at times at the fact that it's just not working out. I never envisioned trying to start a family would incur so much heartbreak. 

When do you decide to ask your doctor about fertility testing? I've read that you must wait until your 3rd miscarriage to consider this but I can't imagine going through another one. I've read about Clomid increasing your chances, etc. Maybe I should ask my doctor about this? Or should I just be patient?

    I'm sorry for your losses. I am 27, I had a miscarriage in January and a miscarriage in July and I started infertility testing in August. Not all providers make you wait for three.

    So sorry for your losses. I had a mc in March and a 2nd yesterday. My dr said no way on waiting for 3 losses. She stated blood tests the day we seen no heartbeat.
