Naps/nighttime

Even though my daughter is not even 3 yet, I don't particularly remember nap and nighttime lengths at 17 months. We have 17 month old triplets, 14 and a half months adjusted, and they are great sleepers. Nighttime is typically 8 or 8:15 until 6:30 or later. I wake them up at 7:30 if they are not yet up so they take naps at the same time. They sleep from 12:30 or 12:45 until 2 hours later, when i wake them up. Is 2 hours a lot of sleep when they sleep 10 and a half to 11 and a half hours a night? Just wondering what other people's experiences are.
March 2011: Off Nuva, cycle back to "normal" for me: No periods since 15 years old. June 2011:Provera&50 mg Clomid; Progesterone:0.7 July 2011:Provera&100mg Clomid; Progesterone:3.29 Met with RE:No Clomid response, begin injectables Sep 5 mg Letrozole and Ovidrel in the interim month. Cut out running (was a distance-runner), cycling, eliptical. Restricted to weight-training, walking, pilates. Brain MRI normal. Being physically over-stressed is the reason the body stopped producing prog. Late Sep 2011: Menopur, Ovidrel,& IUI (10.10.11):BFN-Great injectable response: 2 mature, 6 near mature, many smaller; Problem: 9 cysts! Dr: IUI too uncontrolled for number of viable eggs & age. On to IVF! IVF ER 12.6: 37 mature eggs, 27 fertilized, froze all to avoid overstimulation; FET 1.22 (2 Grade 1)=BFN; FET 2.22 (3 Grade 2)=BFP! Beta 10dp3dt=291; 12dp3dt=644; HB 3.26!! 174 bpm: Vanishing twin almost completely absorbed 10wks Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

Are they happy? Do they seem rested? That's all that really matters. I wouldn't focus so much on a schedule or the total amount of time they are asleep but instead let them sleep as much or as little as they need to. If they want to nap for longer than 2 hours, let them. They sound perfectly normal for 17 month old kids.

    Yes, they're fine and happy.
    Just wondering.
I wake them up after 2 hrs to keep them on the same schedule.
    Thanks!

You are lucky to have them nap 2 hours, my 16 month old won't nap longer than 1.5 hours! I'd let them nap longer if they want!

My 16 month goes to bed at 7:30 until 6:30-7 Am then takes an 1.5 nap around 12:30.

    I wouldn't wake them up.

My 21 month old has been on the following schedule since she was 13 months - nighttime from 7/7:30 pm - 7:30/8 am with a 2-3 hour nap from 12:30-3/3:30.

    Ok..thanks all!
I can't let them go longer than 2 hrs..it doesn't work for our schedule or their sleeping, which is more important. Higher order multiples def need to be kept on the same schedule. It's good to hear some toddlers naps are shortening already...that's kind of what I thought would be happening soon. Thanks!

Hey! Mom of twins here so I'm on your side with the scheduling! It sucks to wake them up, but schedules are so important. I think you're doing great!
