Isn't it Crazy...?!

How the past few months have flown by? I was just curious if others felt the pregnancy went by fast. I feel that I've grown up so much physically, mentally, spiritually during this time. I feel like being pregnant has prepared me somewhat for being a mommy, even though I'm still scared as hell about being a FTM! At the same time. From first starting out worrying about dyeing my hair and what foods to eat to now just wanting this baby out of my body!!

Any of you care to share your thoughts on pregnancy journey? Since it's almost over ;)

Re: Isn't it Crazy...?!

 • I agree! With both of my pregnancies, I have felt like the third trimester has gone by quickly. But who knows when the little one will actually arrive? From weeks 37-42, the waiting game begins and these days tend to feel excruciatingly long and for me have tested my patience! Take it day by day; once baby arrives the sleepless days and nights will melt together and before you know it six weeks have passed!

 • Days/weeks are already seeming so much longer than the past weeks! Still have 6.5 weeks to go!! Ahhhh I think I'm going to go crazy
 • 35 weeks and counting. My daughter came at 38 weeks and this pregnancy has seem to flown by and can't believe that this little one could be here in the next couple weeks!!! Agh! So much left to do!

 • This pregnancy has been a roller coaster. It's our 3rd child in 5 years and it may very well be our last. I always saw myself as a mother of 4, but through the physical and emotional challenges of this pregnancy we may be done. The part for me that's nuts is that DH was gone from the beginning (got pregnant on a weekend visit) to week 23 of the first pregnancy and he was gone from week 13 to 9 weeks after birth with baby #2. He's military and we didn't want to put our family on hold bc of his job so we just made it work:) Well this pregnancy he has been here the whole time, but it has been so much harder on me physically. I am thanking God that my first two pregnancies went so "Easy" bc I don't know how I would have survived this one without him. I'm really glad we were able to enjoy the whole experience and going to appointments together. I have so many mixed feelings about delivery bc while I'm ready to hold my sweet new baby I don't know if I'm ready to never feel a baby grow and move inside me again. I have a feeling that this is going to be the first one of my deliveries that I cry at, just bc it is such a bittersweet time.
 • It completely has for me. On June 8th, I went into my first prenatal OB appointment thinking I was 9 weeks pregnant and walked out learning that I was actually 1 day shy of 21 weeks!! So yeah, it's been a life-changing summer for my husband and I :) We couldn't be more excited, though. We've already learned so much about pregnancy, the human body, and about ourselves as parents-to-be.
 • I agree, the time have flown by rather quickly. With this pregnancy being my second i thought i would take my time, try to squeeze ever joyful moment out of it. Its been 6 years since i was pregnant last, and there were plenty of things different in this pregnancy its almost like its my first again. I have 6 weeks left and still a lot to take care of. I know these last weeks will fly by faster than i realize.
 • Yeah in the overall sense it has gone by pretty fast!!! Some days seem slower than others due to the non stop aches and pains and heartburn lol. I'm a FTM and feel like there is so much more to do and purchase and the energy level needed for this is not there! I'm nervous as all heck but holding my little girl will be worth it!!
