  • Agree that I prefer the more traditional spelling of Liliana. Paired with Marilyn, it sounds a bit long. Curious as to how many syllables you have in your last name.
  • I would have liked it if it were spelled correctly
  • Is Marilyn an honor name? If so I think it's ok as the honor is always more important than flow imo. If not, it's a mouthful and I'd look for something simpler with Liliana. And definitely Liliana.
  • Marilyn is my DH mom's name, and she died 12 years ago. So flow is not as important. I can change to Liliana. Brinson is the last name.
  • It's a bit of a mouthful, but most of the time you won't be saying it all. Will she go by Liliana or Lily?
  • Liliana (definitely spell it this way) and Marilyn are both pretty names separately but a bit much when they're together. I like that Marilyn is in honor of DH's mom, personally I would either find a less frilly first name, like Grace Marilyn, or move Marilyn to the first name spot and find something else for the middle name. Marilyn and Liliana would make a nice sibset, maybe save Liliana for any future girls?

  • I think it's fine if it's spelled Liliana.
  • Love Marilyn

In general I am just over all the Lily names but if I had to pick I prefer just Lily.  It's less fussy.

  • I agree with previous posts about spelling of Liliana. Marilyn is my grandmothers name and it is lovely. Together, the two names are indeed a mouthful but in reality how many times do you introduce yourself by your full name? Except on paper and in rare instances, one won't being pronouncing all names together, so go for it!
  • It's a lot. Both names are great but together it is a lot. You could make it work.
  • Lilliana yes....Lilyana no
  • Liliana Marilyn Brinson is a good name :) it is a little bit of a mouth full to say, but how often will you be saying it? It looks good on an official document and sounds professional. If you love it, go for it.
  • It's a mouthful, but spelled Liliana is much better because you lose the double "y". And since Marilyn is an honor name it trumps flow.

  • I agree with others, that together it's a bit much and I prefer it spelled Lilianna.

    Other suggestions:

    Olivia Marilyn
    Felicity Marilyn
    Charlotte Marilyn
    Lucy/Lucia Marilyn
    Lydia Marilyn
    Lorna Marilyn
    Cecilia Marilyn
    Celeste Marilyn
    Harper Marilyn
    Lena Marilyn
  • I prefer Marilyn Lilliana, but I don't dislike the name. I do agree that it's a little over the top. It's certainly a mouthful.
