When's the appointment date?
September 24th

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment?
Seeing my baby and making sure everything is all right to relieve my anxious mind.

What questions will you be asking?
I want to make sure I can see midwives mainly throughout my visits. I know I have to see everyone at the practice, but there's one doctor in particular that is really medical intervention based and abrasive that I can't stand.

I am also anemic and need to make sure my levels are doing okay.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?
I have a 14 month old DD and we would like to have 2-3 children. I have a feeling even if we decide to have a third, we're definitely going to take a break after this one for a few years.

Thanks @Mel90412 it's been a rough journey so far. I'm trying to go with the pgal mantra "today, I am pregnant!" Oddly enough it was actually somewhat comforting that I spent like 5 minutes this morning with my head in the toilet dry heaving. Nothing came up but OMG did that hurt!!!

When's the appointment date?

September 28th

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment?
I'm really looking forward to trying to hear the heartbeat. I wish they did a standard early ultrasound, but I'll have to wait until at least 10 weeks for a first-trimester screening.
What questions will you be asking?

I'm interested in my delivery options/recommendations since my DS turned breech at 38 weeks (mandatory C-section). I still have areas of knotty scar tissue from his delivery and I'm curious what I can expect to happen to the scar as it stretches. I'll also be asking to see if they can confirm there's only one in there too. (I'm a fraternal twin and I just have this weird feeling this time that there may be two in there. I know the odds are that it's a singleton pregnancy though.)

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?

We have one; ideally, we'd like to have two or three if we can be blessed with that many healthy children.

When's the appointment date? I have gone for labs twice and my frist appt with the doctor is this Tuesday for a U/S and consultation with him ( I am being followed very closely by an inferlity doc so I will get weekly ultrasounds until I "graduate" to second tri).

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Just knowing that baby is growing and everything is on track

What questions will you be asking? This isn't my first time around it is my 5th pregnancy with two alive children and two misscarriage so I basically know the drill just want to know what to know how things are

oops posted before I was ready! I have two kids, one DD who is 5 and one DS who is 3. This is our last pregnancy no matter what happens I can't go through the heartache of another loss and I am not getting any younger..so I am praying and praying!

When's the appointment date?
Family Dr on the 19th sept
High risk OB on the 29th sept (I have a condition that makes my blood clot too easily)

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment?
Confirming that the baby is there and on track (had a loss a few months ago)

What questions will you be asking?
I just want to know anything I can do to reduce my risk of miscarrying again given my medical history

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?
This will be our first. We'd like two if we're lucky enough to blessed with them

When's the appointment date? Sept 22

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Confirming everything is fine and getting to see the little bean with DH.

What questions will you be asking? I know I will be considered high risk again. I have several questions about diet and exercise. I also want to see if we will be following the same plan as last time.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? 1 angel baby, 2 boys at home and I am pretty sure we will be done after this one.

When's the appointment date? September 18th

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Confirmation that I am really pregnant!

What questions will you be asking? The chances of having twins again since we have 1 set already. I will be asking for an ultrasound so I can see for myself how many babies there are - hoping for a singleton this time. I will also ask about VBAC.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?
We have 20 month old fraternal twin boys. They will be just shy of 2.5 when the new baby comes. We thought our family was complete....This pregnancy is very much unexpected but we are both happy to have 3 children.

When's the appointment date? Sept 14, unless he wants a follow up u/s a week from now.

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? I guess, just confirming that things are moving along.

What questions will you be asking? What testing he wants me to do.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? Have 7, not sure on more or not. We've said we're done after each kid, so you can see how well that works for us.

When's the appointment date? Blood draw Sept 11. Probably do ultrasound Oct 1.

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? With the first just confirming what I already know. And the second to help my DH see it's real.

What questions will you be asking? All the standards food, exercise, my health, etc.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? this will be our first. We are truly undecided on how many. I always dreamed 3.

When's the appointment date? Sept 15, hopefully if DH can get off that day if not I'll have to reschedule! Ugh!

What are you looking forward to during the appointment? I want to know when the ultrasound will be, I'm excited to see LO!

What questions will you be asking? I'm worried because I went through the scanners at the airport twice so I'll be asking about that! I'm sure my DH will have more questions, lol!

GTKY: how many children do you have and how many do you want? I have a DD from a previous relationship that's 8 years old and we have a 10 month old girl, so 2 DDs! I want 4 kids and he does too although I've always wanted twins so we will see!

Some helpful info for new mommies, they usually don't do ultrasound until 6-8 weeks because that's when the heart starts beating and you can see it. If you go in to early and you don't see the heart beating then you may stress yourself out when there is no need!

What's the appointment date? Sept. 8th!

What are you looking forward to during the appointment? I'm excited to see just how far along I am! My cycles were long and irregular and not really sure when I O'd, so it'll be nice to know. Also super nervous about miscarriage. Never had one-but I'm so scared.

What questions will you be asking? Not sure I have a whole lot--mainly food questions probably.

GTKY: How many children do you have? How many do you want? This will be our first. Not sure how many we want--I'd say at least 2, but for now, I'm concentrating on one healthy baby at a time!!

When's the appointment date? September 22

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Getting a more exact due date.

What questions will you be asking? Their views on pregnancy and childbirth, how they feel about working with a doula, what their cesarean rate is, how the practice works. I had a home birth with my daughter in a different state and am nervous about how things work within the confines of a practice. I also travel a lot for my job, so I'll be asking how that could affect my pregnancy and what, if any, precautions I should take.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? I have a 4yo DD. DH and I had always talked about having 4, but after this child may lean towards fostering or adopting.

Questions- How will she help me avoid c section, I will deliver at a for profit hospital so this scares me some... also what to do and not to do since I'm for newbie!!

No kids yet unless our two dogs count. I want two and then to explore foster/adoption later.

I called to schedule all of my appointments and was trying to work around DH flight schedule as he will be gone for two weeks. The woman was not going to budge on my ultrasound date. She seriously said "they will just check to see if it is a viable pregnancy, so he really doesn't need to be here." Are you kidding me? I proceeded to say "that is exactly why he needs to be here"....

Sept 22 is when I have an appt with the OB nurse and then I will schedule the appt with the OB
What are you most looking forward to at your appointment?
Actually meeting the OB and seeing the little bean! I have high expectations of doctors after delivering my first. I LOVE him, but it just isn't possible to see him anymore

What questions will you be asking?
I can't think of any. I probably will be asking more questions later on toward the end of the pregnancy regarding labor and delivery. I am determined to make it med-free with this birth. I had a terrible reaction to the epidural last time and I should have toughed it out because I was pushing 20 mins after I received the epidural with Adalynn.
GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?

We have one. DH wanted to be one and done, but I'm more of a two and through person

When's the appointment date? Sept 16

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Being able to tell my husband and family! Scheduling an US so that we can see our little bundle and having it all sink in and feel real.

What questions will you be asking?i haven't really gathered my wits yet. This is my first pregnancy so idk if I even know where to start. I know that I'll ask about my vitamins and supplements that I've taken until I found out I was PG and about the use and safety of essential oils during pregnancy. We are meeting with a midwife/nurse practitioner. No one in my family has used a midwife.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? Currently only have 1 fur baby lol I would like this to be twins so I can be done. Otherwise, everything else depends on how this pregnancy and delivery goes as to if we will try for more.

When's the appointment date? Sept. 25th

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Knowing the baby is okay and healthy. I'm super nervous about the blood draw.. I'm really, really terrified of needles. I went to the dentist to finally get cavities fixed and had to get 3 injections for that.. so I'm trying to suck it up and get better about it. Before that, I had successfully avoided needles for at least 10 years..

What questions will you be asking? I can't think of any now... I've been reading a lot about everything.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? This is our first. I would like to have a baby girl. My husband for now only wants one. I'm thinking I won't want to go through pregnancy a 2nd time...so it might just be one..

When's the appointment date?
I do NOT have an appointment schedule Just POAS on Saturday night! I will probably call on Tuesday to see when my OBGYN can see me.
What are you most looking forward to at your appointment?
I looking forward to getting a script for an ultrasound to determine the date. My last 2 pregnancies according to LMP I was about 2 weeks off on the date. The doctor said it is probably just how my cycle runs. My sister found out this week as well she is pregnant. So we THINK we may be due in the same week! This is both of our last baby, my #4 and her #3.
What questions will you be asking?
Just want to make sure what I have to watch for with this being my 4th C-section as well as so close to my last son he is only 11months. Also, want to get info on having my tubs tied or whatever is next.
GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?

We have 3 sons. This will be our 4th child. We have a 10 yr old, 2.5 yr old and an 11month old. I know I am crazy!

I am going to Disney World in a week, so mostly it is to discuss that and what I can and can't do there. I am not sure what else I am going to ask yet.

I want to hear the heartbeat. I don't know if I will believe it 100% until then. Also I'd like a more accurate due date.

I don't really have a ton of questions. This is the second go around so at this stage I know what to expect.

What questions will you be asking? I'm going to ask about keeping a close eye on my thyroid levels. I'm sure I'll think of some more questions before then.

When's the appointment date? October 12th. Its a lifetime from now. I will be 9 weeks. DH is off that day though so we wanted to wait until then so he can be involved

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? The ultrasound!! My practice does a dr visit, a nurse visit and a ultrasound all on one day. I cant wait to see LO.

What questions will you be asking? ALL. THE. QUESTIONS! Specifically if we are having twins. They run on my moms side.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? This is our 1st. We ideally would like 2.

When's the appointment date? September 18th!

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? The only thing exciting coming out of this appointment will be scheduling my ultrasound! I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks with DD due to some complications and it is absolute torture not being able to see if everything's okay in there!

What questions will you be asking?
I have a whole list of questions. What can I do about my back while I'm pg and will my back problems cause issues with delivery? I was induced early with pre-e, so how does he plan on being proactive dealing with the potential of that? I have a list of like 10 questions!

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have?
We have 1 DD, this makes 2 for us. We both always wanted 2, so assuming I can talk myself out of baby fever in the future, this is all we'll have.

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Just having the nurse proc. say "your uterus is as big as it should be...everything looks fine"
What questions will you be asking? My daughter is almost 4 so I'll need reminders. What food do I need to stay away from, meds? General stuff like that.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? I have one daughter who is almost 4. If everything goes well and we are blessed with another healthy child then we are done. 2 and done

When's the appointment date? Not until September 30th which seems like years from now

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? I just want to hear and know that everything's ok. I just want to be able to give a sigh of relief.

What questions will you be asking? I hope they don't think I'm a total brat, but I have a lot of questions about what I can and can't eat and managing my allergies.... I'm allergic to everything including mold which will get rough as the fall weather rolls in.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? I've always said I wanted two. One biologically and another through adoption, but DH is really pushing me for three. We'll see how well this goes and I might consider it.

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Hearing the heartbeat and seeing if it's a singleton or more.

What questions will you be asking? Nothing comes to mind right now - probably just checking on the vitamins/supplements I'm currently taking and if there's anything else I should or shouldn't be doing. I'm feeling a little rusty on the whole pregnancy thing.

When's the appointment date? Oct. 15 (34 days and counting!)

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Hearing the heartbeat and seeing DH's reaction. Very thankful he should be able to attend most appointments with me!

What questions will you be asking? making sure I understand all of the optional tests, what medicines are acceptable, etc. I am also curious to learn more about how the doctors rotate and what the overall experience will be like.

GTKY: How many children do you have and how many would you like to have? none yet, right now we are both in agreement to just have 1, but who knows?

When's the appointment date? I have to wait till Oct 26th!! They were going to put on Oct 12th, but I could not do that since I am working still, so we decided just to do Oct 26th since it is fall break and I do not have worry about missing work and having to get a sub. I am trying to save all my sick days.

I am looking forward to seeing our nugget ... and the beautiful heartbeat.

I won't be asking very much. Probably when my anatomy scan can be scheduled. I turn 20 wks before christmas!!! Would love to find out in time for Christmas.

This is our fourth bebe and final. We have one girl , two boys.... youngest is 11 months! Fun fun!!! I love being a mom.

First appointment/ultrasound today! I'm so excited and nervous!

Really looking forward to hearing the heartbeat, and getting confirmation that everything is progressing normally. Also looking forward to DHs reaction. Really hope this makes things a bit more real for him.

I will be asking about the flu shots, and any physical restrictions at work, as well as treatment options for (what I'm sure are) kidney stones.

This will be my first child. I want at least two, but will probably try for a third if I get two boys or two girls.

When's the appointment date? I have my first doctor's apt on Sept 23. I'll only be 5 weeks, so it'll most likely just be blood work and a referral to the midwife.

What are you most looking forward to at your appointment? Talking about the pregnancy with a professional. It'll feel so much more real, I think.

What questions will you be asking? If my prenatal vitamin is ok, and if I can continue taking the other vitamins I usually take.
