Pinching

in January 2015 Moms
my son started pinching my face a few weeks ago while fighting off a nap. Now that seems to be the only way he can fall asleep. Anyone know why or what I can do?

    I am going through the same issue with my daughter - she doesn't always pinch but is constantly touching my face when she gets tired.

    E reaches for my hair while nursing when she's tired. I redirect her hand to either my shirt or her Wubbanub (small stuffed animal with attached pacifier) because I don't want it to become a habit .

    G pinches when she's nursing and falling asleep. And I have to agree, at some point it seems like she needs to do it to fall asleep. I do my best to correct the behaviour.
