Clingy Toddler with Pregnancy?

My daughter is 20 months old, and I am 33.5 weeks pregnant. We have had a rough pregnancy, but I have heard an old wive's tale that as you get close to labor, your child will get more whiny and clingy.
Any other moms have any advice or thoughts on this?

    I never heard that! But my 1 and 2 year old have been clingy the entire pregnancy so maybe I just haven't noticed an increase haha

    I'm ten weeks and my 16mo son is very clingy. Shall be interesting to see how he reacts to baby!
