When I went to my appointment, the nurse asked if I had felt the baby move. I told her I thought I had but I'm not positive and asked if it was too early, cuz I was 14 weeks 5 days. She said it was possible to be feeling baby that early but every woman is different. I just had to scratch my head.

Edited cuz I messed up one word! Hate when I do that.

Same with me. When I went to my last OB appointment the doctor asked and I said I thought so, but I thought it was too early and she said it was possible. Then, the nurse was finding the heartbeart with the doppler I told my SO that the baby was moving and just then the nurse said, "It's moving a lot in there."

I feel like I can't even remember what the flutters were. I'm sure once they happen I'll be super excited and remember!! Squeeee can't wait!!! Lol
  • 17 weeks and I am feeling flutters this week when sitting down or laying down! Usually a little bit after eating something. Thought I felt this same feeling late last week, but at that point it was so light and infrequent that I couldn't really tell what it was.
  • I have been feeling kicks since 16 weeks or so. Yes they are kicks lol. She is rolling too and it is the coolest feeling. I don't remember that feeling with my other girls but she is pretty active.
  • My OB asked me if I I was feeling any movement at 12 wks. I said I think it is is kind of early for that. She didn't say anything. I was wondering if she just automatically asks that at the beginning of each appointment.
  • I'm 14w6d and my mom asked yesterday how much the babies been kicking and if I thought it felt funny. I replied I'm not really to the point where I can feel it yet. Maybe another month. She replied, "Well I don't know about that. I used to lay down and watch you swim back and forth across my stomach."

    .....okay, Mom.

She also told me when I was 12 weeks and had a sharp pain in my ribs near my breast, that it HAD to be the baby swimming up there and kicking me. I tried to explain where my uterus was at the time (you know, barely above my pubic bone), and she said it was completely possible and normal for it to "swim around." Lol
  • I am just 15 weeks and 2 days right now, and I haven't felt anything yet. I am so excited to start feeling things in the next few weeks though. For those of you that have already felt flutters and such, what do the flutters feel like?

For me it's a mix. I sometimes get strong kicks that I can distinctly feel - it almost feels like a tweaked nerve but isn't. This is totally weird but it feels similar to if you press too hard into your belly button and you can feel it oddly for me haha.

Then sometimes it is a swishing like water moving in my uterus only more forceful and noticeable. I'm terrible at describing things though so don't take mine too seriously

  • STM, almost 15 weeks. I felt my son around 16 weeks. I remember it being much lower than I thought and it felt like tiny bubbles almost? I just remember thinking it was so much lower than I thought it would be.
  • So jealous of all of you who have felt movements! I'm 18+1 and nothing so far :( I do have this pulling feeling behind my belly button sometimes and that freaks me out, but definitely nothing like a flutter or kick.
