  • I haven't tested yet and won't before Monday if at all. I didn't sleep well last night and between being tired and emotional I was in a funk today. I almost don't want to know because if I get a bfn I'm going to be so upset. If rather stay in this not knowing just to keep from the sadness.

How great would it be if all of us got BFPs
  • Not tested yet. Trying to hold out till Monday. Keep hoping we get a great anniversary present :)

Felt so lazy today! It was gorgeous outside today but all i wanted to do was lay around and watch movies w/ popcorn.

I took a cvs HPT this am and got a weird horizontal line. I googled it and it seems the test was invalid. Ugh. Trying not to run out and buy more but probably will and will re-test tomorrow ahead of beta on tues.

My dizziness/lightheaded picked up a lot more last night and this morning.  I also felt a lot of cramping last night and my dogs kept jumping I'm on stomach when they run across couch, it was killing me.  Not sure where the dizzy spells are coming from, but I didn't have that last month.

  • @Sarah1516 it's probably too early still . Don't lose hope !!

@babyexpress ugh that doesn't sound fun ! Hopefully it's a good sign though . Hope you are taking it easy today .

My boobs have almost doubled in size (or so it seems to me ) and I am running a low grade fever . Is a low grade fever a sign of early pregnancy ? Of course I'm reading into it . Hope I'm not sick .

Anyone test at home yet?? My DH wants me to today so we can find out together before my beta tomorrow so I probably will at some point in the day.  I am so nervous..I feel like I should be excited but I just don't want to know.  I don't want to get the BFN and be all depressed and then have to figure out what comes next.  I just want to be pregnant but I just don't know that I feel pregnant.  The only symptom I have is my boobs feel bigger, they aren't really sore, every so often I get a sore twinge but overall they just feel heavier and bigger but I am on progesterone so I know they are probably just from that.  I have this glimmer of hope that maybe I am pregnant but deep down I don't think I am and I know how crushing it is going to be when I find out.  Ugh...I hate the people who get pregnant with out even trying it 's just not fair.
  • @rachlee2010 thank you! definitely didn't sleep last night. I think I'm too tired to be nervous now. Eeek!

Not everyone feels pregnant so please don't get your hopes up! I feel like half of the people I talk to that have been pregnant say they "knew" right away and others said they didn't feel anything for about 5 weeks. I know its impossible not to read into stuff. I have gone through cycles over the last two weeks of "feeling so pregnant" and then "just knowing I'm not pregnant". I feel like this is just an emotional rollercoaster. Good luck with your test today!! hope you get your BFP!!!

I hear you, it's so hard watching people "accidentally" getting pregnant. I'm like really?!?! How is that even possible?!!?

Praying for everyone testing today!! GOOD LUCK!!! Hugs!

  • I tested this AM with a FRER and got a BFN. The disappointment this cycle is crushing. I know I'm not out until the beta test but I don't have anymore hope. I really thought it would be positive this time because everything this cycle came together: DH's work schedule, DH sample, my response to Letrozole.

Now they are going to want to start me on injectibles.

Good luck @rachlee2010 I am really hoping that you and everyone else gets BFPs.

  • @kmetcalf03 I'm sorry :( I know the disappointment is always so hard to take . But you are right you are not out until the beta . Good luck !

  • Ah.. so I got my test results and the nurse told me I have a "low positive". My hcg level was 15. Does anyone know what that means? I tried asking the nurse likelihood of this really being positive and she couldn't tell me anything. Going back for testing on Wednesday to see if the level goes up.

  • I don't think they could tell you anything until they see what your next beta will look like. It could be just late implantation (FX) or a chemical pregnancy if the levels don't rise as expected (doubling in about 48 hrs). FX for you!
  • @mskeenan I would take it as a good sign for now. I saw someone else post with a level of 5. Take the good news and see what Wednesday brings.

    Big hugs for @kmetcalf03 & @agriffin92013

  • @mskeenan that's great news. You are right to be cautious but as PP said, you could have had late implantation. FX for Wednesday's results!
      • TTC #1 since August 2014
      • currently on 5th medicated IUI cycle
  • My beta today was negative. Boo. I knew it though, I tested 10dpiui and it was BFN and I just didn't feel anything different. Now we need to decide if we want to do another letrozole only cycle or add injectibles? Tough choice!

@mskeenan the same happened to me last month and it was a chemical. I did see someone else on here who had that low beta of around 5, and it stuck for her. It could go either way, but fingers crossed for you that the number increases for you! Don't worry about what the number is, as long as it's increasing, that's what matters!!
  • So @amos1417  I have been on injectables and I personally don't think it's so bad but I've never minded shots

@mskeenan I hope it sticks and doubles for you

I caved and took a HPT just now (beta is officially tomorrow and and got a BFN..i'm bummed...not sure what the dr will recommend doing next..we will talk to her this week after we get official word.
  • Man, people are dropping like flies.  :((

    More hugs coming for @amos1417 & @rachlee2010

@amos1417 I would agree with @rachlee2010 on the injectables, I didn't find them to be bad at all.

@rachlee2010 you might want to try your first pee of the day also for the HPT, your pee could be diluted if you just did it.

  • @babyexpress I have heard that but I figured with my iui over 2 weeks ago if it's positive shouldn't matter what time of day.  I could be wrong but i'm out of tests so gonna stick with the negative and go for my beta tomorrow to get official word.

Meanwhile I am on progesterone and estrogen and don't know if I should stop them now or wait for the official negative from the dr with the instructions to stop then
  • @rachlee2010 Most people will tell you to take the progesterone until you get the negative beta. But my feeling is the sooner you stop the progesterone, the sooner you get AF and can re-start everything rather than deal with the waiting game. I stopped the night before my beta last month and it still took 3 days to get AF. I took the crinone to work with me and figured that if by some miracle I got a BFP I would take the crinone at work and only be 12-15 hours delayed. My RE generally calls me with bloodwork results around 12:30pm.

  • That's not a bad idea @kmetcalfe77

Last month I took my meds the night before my beta but not the day of and it took a full week for af to show. I think I might do what you said and bring them both to work. If by some miracle I get a bfp I'll be like 18 hours behind on estrogen and only 7ish on progesterone as I only take that in the morning

@mskeenan fx for better numbers Wednesday
  • Thank you everyone I appreciate the well wishes and the feedback! I really hope my numbers go up Wednesday. I don't want to get my hopes up. The strange thing is that home pregnancy tests are not showing a positive AT ALL. Nothing. That makes me think that testing before a beta really isn't a good idea? But I guess it just depends. Ah!!

I'm sorry for the negatives I'm seeing :( Praying next month will be better for everyone. Good luck to the rest of the beta testers this week. Please keep us posted.

  • @amos1417 - I third  @babyexpress and @rachlee2010in that the injectables I don't find bad at all. I can't administer them myself because I am a huge weenie but they don't make me feel bad. It may sound weird but I actually feel great the week that I am taking them. I am a huge baby about getting blood drawn and getting shots but they are not bad. I would recommend applying ice briefly to the injection site after taking the injection though because I have bruised a little from them. I hope they work out well for you!!
