I've only lurked on this board. So this is my first post, and I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for it..
Anyways, I'll try to make this as short as I can. My son is 9 weeks old and has been spitting up (not just a little bit, a lot) after every single feeding since he was born. When we were in the hospital, they told us it was just because he was trying to get the excess mucus out of his system. I breastfed for this first month, then switched to formula. We tried similac advance and similac sensitive. Then the pedi told us to try similac soy. None of those helped at all, so then she told us to try enfamil AR with added rice starch. That hasn't helped either. We had also had given him zantac and nexium. At his 2 month checkup, we told the pedi nothing had changed and he had recently started projectile vomiting. So we did an ultrasound to check for pyloric stenosis. Everything looked normal, thank God. She also told us to add rice cereal to the formula. That has cut down on the projectile vomiting, but that's about it. He has gained four pounds since birth, so that doesn't seem to be an issue. I just wish there is something we could do to help him keep it down until he hopefully outgrows this. We keep him propped up all the time, and we also tried gripe water. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation.
