  • I guess that depends on what you consider a "big family".  Everyone I know is treating us like we are crazy.  This is only our 4th.  I love big families! :)

My husband and I were just talking about that recently. Like these days 3 or 4 kids is a lot for people. I also love big families but people just don't have them anymore. My favorite parts of my day are when we're all sitting around the table eating. I just love seeing a full table of cute little faces! I so look forward to the many many years of that to come!

  • Congratz on another pregnancy, I hope you have a H&H 9 months.

I just wanted to point out that the statement "they're all ours also" is really hurtful to adopted children and parents.
I was adopted, and I was every bit "all theirs".

I know you weren't trying to be cruel, so I hope you don't feel like I'm attacking you. Please just pick your wording a little wiser in the future.

Maybe "They all came from my womb!" would work?

Once again, Congratz on your large family! <3

Edited to just say that I'm sure no one meant anything by it and I actually did have an explication for why I said that. I changed my mind because I feel like your drive by post was just trying to start drama. Have a h & h pregnancy.

  • You all are so blessed. I would love a large family. :) We are having our second baby now. My husband says our house is too small for a large family. 3 bedrooms but they are good sized. Does anyone mind me asking how you do your kids rooms? Do they all share a few rooms or how do you do it?
    Thanks ladies :)

We have 11 & 8yr old boys in 1 room, 9yr old girl "just HAS to" (lol her words) share a room with 2yr old little brother and a 1yr old sharing a room with my husband and I. Shortly before the baby comes my daughter will have her room to herself and the 2 & 1yr old will move into a room together. Baby will be taking the 1yr olds place in the room with us as I will be bf. Hope that made sense. :)

I have 3 girls(18, 13 &7) and 1 boy(10). Up until last year my 18 year old had her own room, my 12year old daughter and 9 year old son shared a room and my youngest slept in my room. Now that my son, only boy, is 10 we rented a 4 bedroom so he has his own room for privacy. Now my 13 year old and 7 year old girls share a room. This baby will stay in my room for the first year or so at least.
  • I am expecting my 5th as well, 3 boys and 1 a girl right now, and even though 2 are adopted, they are still "all mine".  Not too sure what the comment means.  There is more than one way to have a family.
  • We're expecting #12 in our home in March 2016! 8 boys ,3 girls, 1 set of twins in our last pregnancy. It's just one baby this time, (phew). Hoping for a girl! Good luck!
