T&Pneeded!!!! UPDATE

Hey mamas-

My 5 week old (he came at 36w6d) is about to undergo surgery. He was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis yesterday after he lost 1lb in 48 hours, has been projectile vomiting and no BM since Sunday. Please be praying for my sweet boy. Knowing he's about to undergo anesthesia and the knife wrecks my heart. Trust your mommy instincts, gals. TIA!

Wow - we just had the longest 48 hours ever. It took the hospital THIRTY HOURS to have an open OR to operate on my baby. That was THIRTY hours of not being allowed to feed him. Mama bear got ANGRY! But nonetheless- LO made it through surgery last night, did amazing through the night and today and we were just discharged HOME. Praise!!!!

T&P's for you and your little man, as well as the surgeons, nurses and medical staff. I hope everything goes smoothly and that he recovers quickly! I know it's so scary but it's great that they found the cause and are able to fix it. Hang in there.
