If one more person tells me I am carrying low and that the Drs are wrong and that I am really pregnant with a boy...I think I will scream.

Too many people think OWTs are definitely and always true. My Dr has checked...plus I had a 4D ultrasound...believe me...there is no penis there.

Sorry something about this lady today just rubbed me the wrong way.

I carried my daughter very low and she is difinately a girl. This baby is much higher and all boy.

LOL! I hear ya! With DD, she was huge and low the entire time...I also got the "IT'S A BOY" ridiculous sh*t all the time. Ummm...pretty sure the u/s tech AND Dr. know what they are talking about! This second baby is higher, and a boy! People are so silly.

For me it's exactly the opposite: I am expecting a boy (or at least that's the guess two u/s techs gave us now - we'll know for sure once my amnio results are back)....and everybody is 100% sure it's a girl, for a billion reasons.

It's amazing how people 'know' things about what's going on in my belly.

Yes, it's lame. When I was PG with DD I carried all the baby weight in my belly when according to OWT if you're having a girl you're more like a tire and with a boy you're more like a basketball. I was more like a basketball so people kept predicting a boy. I even got into a back and forth with one of my student's parents because she was so sure it was going to be a boy. Uh, I think I'll trust the doctor over you TYVM. It did make me nervous though until my mom commented on how she looked just like me when she was carrying me. So I will take the doctor's opinion and genetics over any OWT!

What I think is funny, is how do they even know you ARE carrying "low." What are they comparing too? Have they spent a lot of time accumulating pictures of different pregnant bumps? Do they have you stand in a line with a bunch of other pregnant ladies? No, they are just guessing so they will have something to say. So annoying!!!!!

This is exactly why I'm hesitant about staying Team Green! At least you'll have something to say to shut these people up (politely of course!). I'll have to hear it for the whole 40 weeks, with no easy way out.

Well after the first ultrasound...I let it get to me a lil. I kept thinking...Maybe they are right, but after the 4D...I know she's a girl. Plus I got another 2D scan right between her legs...She is definitely a she.

I am carrying our girl low, I have yet to feel any movement above my belly button (although fellow pregnant ladies in my group say it will come very soon). My neighbor, who is 33 weeks is carrying their boy very high and is definitely not a basketball...

I have been making myself nervous because so many people are telling me that lately there have been a lot of girl mistakes at my hospital... that there have been a lot of parents told they were having girls and in fact they had boys. I think I am just freaking myself out... we will see again at 32 weeks when we have another u/s.

My last pregnancy I carried high and it was a boy. This pregnancy I'm carrying low and it's a girl. My friend is carrying high with her second child and its a boy and another friend is carrying low and she's having a girl.

So annoying! I have people tell me I'm high and low within an hour of eachother. No one really "knows" anything from the outside, but it does get frustrating when everyone says, they've never been wrong.
