I dropped blueberries on the floor this morning (like a bunch). Definitely wish I could have just left them there. Crawled around to get them and then had to haul my ass back up.
Ha! That's what my dogs are for! My husband gets mad at me when I call them in the kitchen to clean up my mess from the floor (we typically do not feed them people food), sorry not sorry :)

Hahahaha! Give up on that when your kid starts eating real food. Our dog gained 10 pounds when DD started, it saves a lot of clean up.

I'm having a hard time with pretty much everything! Most notably DD now takes a shower if DH isn't available to help with bath time. At 2 1/2 she's doing pretty good at it!
  • Get out of the bath tub... I was pretty seriously considering if it was worth the work getting out at all
  • Put up with BS! Lol

  • I teach, and I often sit at a student desk instead of my own. Ummm not any more! Stomach is too big!

Lol. Yeah, my cat keeps bringing me the blueberries that I missed...
  • Lol these are hilarious and I can completely empathize. I can't get up from the couch or anywhere I may be even partly on my back (I look like a turtle stuck on my shell). Washing/Drying/Dressing my lower extremities is a workout in which I wind up completely out of breath and needing to sit down. Walking across my school campus.... oh my god who's idea was it to put the school on a hill and the parking at the top?!?! Sleeping...yeah that's out. Pretty much everything is starting to get more difficult lol.
  • Not necesarily hard but I was lotioning myself last night after a shower and it felt and looked as thought I was trying to wax a car.
  • Walk around my classroom without bumping into my students or their desks with my belly.

Flush the toilet in a public restroom with my foot (yes... Disgusting)
  • I can't turn around to back out of a parking space. Even with the back up camera I panic becaus I can't physically turn around to look. Pulling forward is not the only way to park....usually forever away and I'm winded before I get into the store.
  • Every time I use the bathroom stall at work, I stand too close to the door when existing and hit myself in the belly. I'm just used to standing in that spot when I leave the bathroom and have always had plenty of clearance. Muscle memory for stuff like this sucks!

Yes this!! Who designed the door to open in anyway. Even not pregnant there are some stalls you practically have to hover the toilet to get open and get out, then add a dang bump that you can't suck in even though you still try....... I use the handicap or family stall when I can, in all fairness I usually have 2/3 of my kiddos with me to make public restrooms that much more fun :)
  • Hold onto things apparently. My hands just seem to stop working sometimes. Today I just completely let go of my son's milk in a store and it went everhwhere....

Also it's getting harder to not give into toddler tantrums...

    Yup all of it
  • Wash dishes. With my bump in the way I have to stand awkwardly/bend over to wash and it kills my back. I've never had the best back to start with.

This! I'm a barista and I have dropped so many coffees lately.

Just discovered a new one today...enter and exit a public bathroom stall. Especially the ones where the door opens in not out. I almost smooshed myself!

  • Dry myself off after getting out of the shower.....
  • At 33 weeks now, I CANNOT KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT! I'm embarrassing myself at this point. I've had full on rage in two stores and a restaurant this week because people do such dumb stuff and I can't hold it in. I guess when the hostess yesterday at lunch saw me, her first instinct was to walk me through the crowded bar and try and put me in a chair that was like 4 feet tall. Lady, I can barely get in my car, let alone a high top chair! I may or may not have yelled at her. I feel like an asshole and apparently I can't be trusted to leave the house.

Re-opened this thread to say exactly this!  I can't do anything at the counter now, it hits me right at belly button level.  So I have to step back a bit and bend over.  This includes chopping veggies and washing my hands.  No wonder my back hurts so much lately!

My computer desk hits in the same spot, but I have enough space on the side to prop my feet up, then I lean my chair back and put my keyboard on my belly.  Looks ridiculous, but it saves my back!

  • Brushing my teeth!
Our counter ledge protrudes waaaay too far out and I have to tippy toe and lean over to spit into the sink! Sometimes I forget and just end up bouncing backwards and cursing quietly to myself. May have to start brushing my teeth in the shower or something here soon!
  • Rolling over and switching sides in bed! Also avoiding heartburn!

Ugh, yes!  There have been a couple of nights for me where rolling over in my sleep was practically torture (last night was one of them).  I felt as though I would burst at the seams!
  • Have motivation to get DD room ready so the nursery is freed up for new baby. I moved a table to the garage today out of her room and now have a backache and round ligament pain.
  • I have to say this is the first time in my life I'm thankful to be almost 6ft tall. I haven't had any difficulty with anything (so far) . I'm 29 weeks and right on track with weight gain. Sinks, counters, couches etc have never been an issue and must be why I haven't had one yet. I hate getting dressed, but I think most of us feel that way. We will see what the next 11 weeks (-/+) has in store...

Lucky! I'm also 6ft. But have issues.... I am going to take into account this is my 4th in 6 years so my body just decided to say screw this and make things difficult :). I don't remember having issues until the last month or two with my first, that was also my easiest pregnancy. I have been rolling out of bed for a while now. I have high counters and they still hit me right at the bottom of my belly. If I carry to much weight I pay for it with a tight belly and back aches. Ready for the last 9 weeks to go fast!
  • Rolling around in bed like a beached whale.
    Getting up off the floor.

    Just moving in general really.

Find the motivation to look nice when I leave the house. Maternity clothes still fit fine (even some non-maternity shirts still fit)... But I don't want to put effort or thought into what I'm wearing.
Seriously this! I ran errands the other day and had no motivation to make myself look nice before leaving the house: was wearing leggings and one of my husband's t-shirts, threw my wet hair up in a messy (not the cute kind) bun, no make-up. I felt like a total slob and it only got worse, I must have seen 5 pregnant ladies in Costco looking super cute, all done up and in nice maternity clothes. I wanted to ask them how they had the energy to do that
  • Keep walking pace with my DH. I usually have a fast walk, but pregnancy has definitely slowed me down. Picking up my cats from a standing position, finding food at the back of the fridge shelves (not really a full size fridge), and squeezing through my itty-bitty rowhome bathroom are all not quite so easy these days as well.

  • @ColoradoHiker I second the walking pace!

Except I've always been a slow walker and I've gotten increasingly slow.
