Hello everyone, I'm Carrie, I'm 37 and this (hopefully) will be my first child. I got a BFP yesterday, which is crazy because this is the first month I didn't have phantom symptoms. I haven't missed AF yet, so it's super early and like everyone else on this board, I'm nervous about whether this will stick. I had a missed miscarriage in March. The baby stopped growing at 6 weeks, so that's the milestone I look forward to passing, although I'll be nervous until the second trimester. Just writing "second trimester" sounds like wishful thinking. I swore to myself that I would be happy if I got pregnant again and not miss out on the joy, so for now I will say, "Today I am pregnant." ...And that's pretty amazing. I saw some names I recognize on this board, so hello, and I'm glad to be joining you! I haven't joined the May '16 board yet or changed my Bump status. Maybe after I miss AF...
TTC#1 since Jan 2015
BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
BFP 8/29/15  •  CP (age 37)
BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

TTC#2 since May 2017
BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
BFP 2/16/18  •  CP (age 39)
BFP 4/13/18  •  CP (age 39)
BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks  •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    Welcome and congrats. I too never thought a second trimester would be in future but here I am! Here's to an uneventful and healthy nine months!

    Welcome and congrats @CarrieandRoy. I think lots of us, including myself, are trying to shed the nerves and just enjoy the beginning of pregnancy but boy, is it scary! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!
