Remember the cost of health care is much different than here... you can get a scan privately for £40 or so.... I just ha day first on the NHS at 13w5d and will have one every month to 2 weeks because of a risk to the placenta due to underlying disease

I've had 3, but I'm only getting mine more often due to a MMC in April and a SCH. Otherwise I'd get one around 8-9 weeks and then not again until 20 weeks.

I've had three so far and I'm twelve weeks. A dating one which showed I was earlier than I thought, a second one a week later, my NT scan last Friday and will have my anatomy one later on in the pregnancy. I don't think I would have had as many if I was having my baby at home in Ireland.

I get one at every appt but that's just how my ob prefers to do things and I won't complain lol.

The same thing happened to me and the sonographer told me it shouldn't be so full; I was like errrrrrr you say full bladder and you run late there was no way I was risking emptying it and starting again to be called in and then I have an empty bladder and a rubbish scan! Ha ha
I love looking at all these ultrasound pics I originally wasn't going to be getting one until 20 weeks, however I recently switched hospitals/Drs and they are giving me one tomorrow (8/31st) I'm 13ish weeks. I'll try and upload mine tomorrow if I can do it from my phone

Nope. With my first I only had one ultrasound at 20 weeks. I had one early this time because of some bleeding, but I won't have another until 20 weeks and that will be the last one.
Got my ultrasound today! They said I'm 13w1d, but I'm still sure I'm 12w1d (based on when we could have conceived) so I guess baby is measuring ahead. So fun to see him/her wiggling around in there! I'm in love
12w1d finally see our gummy bear after 7 weeks so amazing how she/he grow this much:))) It's Funny that she is sitting like she holds a phone busy in there Hahahah
