this morning woke up with leaking, then all of a sudden gush of fluid, soooooo much fluid I thought I was gnna die or something, extremely chaotic morning and rushed to the hospital, 10 hours later my baby boy was born. Healthy and happy, 35 weeks +2 days, normal vagjnal, did have epidural, baby and me doing ok so far.
My advice, pack ur hospital bag and install ur car seat now. U never know!!!

Congratulations! Dumb question- what's typical hospital protocol if you have baby that early? I assume they'll want him to stay a few weeks for monitoring?

Thank you ladies!!! Well the plan is for discharge Tommarow, he didn't need to go to the NICU and was manintianjng his blood sugar levels and temperature pretty well yesterday. Typical protocol is 3 days in the hospital unless it's a c section or there are problems. Today however he does keep dropping his temperature so they are keeping an extra eye on him, don't know if DC is still for Tommarow. Having trouble breastfeeding(which seems to be the case with everyone I talk to) so started on formula and will continue to try to breastfeed/pump.
