Mucus Plug...FTM HERE.

I know ppl have posted before but I need to just explain my situations. I am 38 weeks pregnant and I think my mucus plug has expelled. I am saying this because my husband and I had intercourse last night. A had a few contractions this morning. now, at 8pm EST, I had a yellowish thick mucus when I wiped myself. No contractions now just a weird feeling and major hip pain. Any insight someone can offer would be great. Thanks

    I had contractions the day before I lost mine (at 32 weeks. It's my second pregnancy). My doctor told me the contractions probably caused me to lose it. What you're describing sounds right. I never lost mine (that I noticed or saw) with my first baby.

    It sounds like a mucous plug. Also, I had contractions with DS1 in the form of hip pinching. Just an FYI for you to watch that, could be labor, but maybe not.

    Contractions can be pain in your hips?! Well...maybe that is what is going on with me. I've been having pain in my hips randomly. Maybe false labor. Ugh! I am going to try to go med free but IDK if it's going to be intensified hip pain like I've been having...
