I don't use protein powder but my high risk Drs told me to start drinking the Special K protein drinks so I drink those for breakfast but they even said powder was ok just go for the ones high in protein with fiber it'll help keep you full and help you "go" regularly lol
My favorite lunch I pack lately for work is spinach salads with hard boild eggs on top and honey mustard dressing... for lunch today I ate a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Yogurt and watermelon oatmeal all have been included in my diet lately. I feel good about that bc my beginning pregnancy foods were horrible... mostly breads, cheeses, and chips I could only eat bc everything else grossed me out...
@rsharmeen I am in the same boat! I actually met with a dietician today though, because my food aversions at so severe. They gave me a lot of helpful ideas, you should see if your health care has anything similar to that. If not I'd before than happy to send you my notes. I can't eat any meat period and was advised against it anyways though. Lots of other options an helpful tricks! Check It out if you can!
My doctor just said to wait , I am 17 weeks now, still the same, would like to know what recommendation u got.
So I've been on this fresh fruit (mostly pineapple) kicks. I was doing some research and saw that eating fresh pineapple *could* lead to a M/C. SERIOUSLY? It is like the only thing I can stomach that doesn't make me regret eating it. Strawberries, watermelon and cantalope are all fine in small quantities, but I seriously can down 3 whole pineapples in a day...if I could. This week I've had 4 or 5 whole pineapples....I have an OB appointment on monday and I am going to ask her if they're not safe for baby.....However, in the meantime I am going to *try* to avoid eating so many until then.
I heard the same about pineapple, have been avoiding it. I eat mostly guava, peach, figs, dates.
I've really been feeling that too @Katty422 I really need to go out and buy it because I've enjoyed it only when going out to breakfast but it's filling and healthy!
