I REALLY want a leap year baby- I think it would be so fun. I like the idea of "choosing" which day you celebrate 3 of the 4 years and then having a big party on the actual leap years would be great. My husband likes to joke that it just means we only throw a party once every 4 years... yea right.
With DS (who was due in December) everyone felt bad for him to be born so close to Christmas. I couldn't have cared less! But for some reason, a leap day birthday would make me a little sad for them. Probably just projecting my feelings on them, though, because I think I'd end up with major identity issues! LOL.

So...my EDD is Feb 24th, but they said baby could come 4-5 days late based on size during ultrasound. We talked about it being a leap day baby and my bf asked when would we celebrate the bday. Without skipping a beat I said "either on the 28th or we can just pretend we forgot and say April fools!" He smiled and didn't say a word. Three days later he said remember when... And was like you forgot the entire month of March and blamed my pregnant hormones. He told me he didn't want to burst my bubble and call me on it when I said it. LOL!
@Melisich i know what you mean. I'm due on the 29th and i really hope it doesn't happen. I'm a Valentine's baby and I don't like it. I can never celebrate my birthday on because friends always have plans and when i want to go out resturants are always super busy. I'm just holding on to the fact that only about 5% of babies are born on their due date
My EDD is 2/29.... according to my Last Cycle my due date would be 2/24.... so I'm somewhere in the end of the month and have a decent change of an actual Leap Day baby! Not sure how i feel about it, but my friends are all wanting it to be 2/29. hahaha. we shall see! Baby shall come when she is ready!
