My UO: I am really disappointed his new show. He is my favorite stand up comic and I was so excited when I heard he was getting his own show. The reviews that came out before it aired said it was amazing, so maybe my expectations were just too high. But it's just like a less funny version of everybody loves Raymond. Hard working mom, clueless/doofus dad and some situational comedy/funny one liners. Standard.
Yes, very meh. also it seems like Hulu is putting the episodes on there out of order? So that's been sort of annoying. But yeah, its relatively funny just not anything special compared to how funny he himself is.

Out of curiousity, would you still hate it if the parents gave permission/asked someone else to post it for them?
I guess this would be my UO...I don't really care if someone else posts pics of my baby first. My mom posted DD2's first pic on Facebook for me (she did ask first, and I was fine with that) and when DS was born, I actually told my SIL that it was her job to update my family once he was born, so she posted his first Facebook pic for me.

She's talking about people who don't ask and just take it upon themselves to start posting pictures of someone else's baby. I don't want people posting pictures of my kids on their FB because I don't know who they are friends with and I don't want my daughter's picture out there with a bunch of people that I don't know.
My UO: I'm secretly glad my Dr and OB are pushing for an elective c section. I had a terrible labour and delivery with DD and I do not want to repeat that. I fully understand its major surgery and a tough recovery but seriously, it can't be worse than a 30 hr labour with 3 hrs pushing to have 2 OBs put all 4 of their hands where that many hands should never go to pull out my blue and limp daughter and have the NICU come tearing in with oxygen.. Not to mention having excess fluid, an incompetent midwife and a stubborn DD who was turned twice and still refused to come out properly.. Oh and DD had a dislocated shoulder from being pulled out and then I got put in a semi private room with a roommate who snored so loud she shook the windows.. Yep. A nice c section actually sounds a bit like heaven to me.

I understood that's how she meant it in general. I was just curious if it still bugs her when the parents legitimately don't care. (Obviously, it may not be possible to know whether the person in question did it because they were just so excited about their friend/relative's new baby or if the parents of said baby asked them to share.)
I guess I just don't understand getting so bent out of shape over something that you may not know the whole story about...particularly when it's not even your kid.
I really don't like social media. I just don't feel everyone needs to know what I'm doing every day, where I'm at, who I'm with, etc. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc just are not for me. Pinterest is the closest I'll get to "social media" but I mainly just look at that for ideas for the nursery, eye make-up and tattoos.

ETA: If the parents don't care, then fine. Have a photo shoot. I personally think that it is rude, disrespectful and out of line to begin posting about the birth of someone else's child before them and/or without their permission. You may feel it's getting bent out of shape, but as a FTM to be (God willing) this December, I'd be livid if someone did that me.
Like @redfallon said, Idk your friends and who you have on fb. I am also NOT on fb. Whatever you put on fb, belongs to fb, after you post it. You can delete it, but it is not legally yours anymore. I don't want my kid on other social networks, unless I put him there either. I come from a place where people legit steal each other's pics in screen shots and send them to each other and cause drama and what have you. Granted, I don't have drama with anyone, so this shouldn't effect me in theory, I still know people do shady shit with other people's pics, and kid's pics. So, to protect my little guy, I will hold off before posting my child and everyone else has to respect that. Anyone who does so without my permission, will have an issue with me. But that's me. Some people don't care, and that's them.
My glucose drink is sitting in my fridge... I go to the doctor on Monday and I'm an oddball because I can't wait to try it and see what all the fuss is about!
