Were you more exhausted during the third trimester or in the first few months after baby was born? I'm exhausted right now at 36 weeks and have no energy just curious if this will be my life for the next 6 months or if I'll get some pep back in my step a few weeks after birth???
Re: STMs: were you more exhausted during third trimester or...
Yeah I still get tired but I think PP is easier in that regard.
BUT, it's a mental exhaustion. You can't function at 100%.
3rd Tri exhaustion is more physical. I get a lot of my physical strength back quickly after DD1 was born. I might not have had much in the way of brain cells, but I had my body back.
Me: 28, DH: 33
Conceived DD in <1yr w/o assistance
TTC#2 since 11/2013
DX: PCOS
Benched pending conf of Rubella immunity
Next Cycle: CLOMID round 1
Since people feel the need to ask I always say I'm excited for the baby to be here because even though sleep well be in shorter and fewer increments I KNOW I'll sleep better than I do now. Of course I always get "let's hope!" or some unsupportive response. (I'm so glad they have an idea of how bad I've slept during my pregnancy.)
Anyway your input gives some credibility to my notion that I'll sleep better post pregnancy even tho its shorter.
