ok I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow and I'm still not showing. I only have my little pudge that I've always had. I'm a first time mom. Why do you start showing? Should I be concerned?
Why do you start showing? When the baby continues to grow in your uterus and get bigger. No, many women don't starting showing until they are further along it depends on your body type https://www.thebump.com/a/when-will-my-belly-begin-to-show -bump article That might helP
My sister is 6'3" and never showed with either of her kids. I have a long torso also (6') and this is baby #2 and I just switched to maternity pants because my regular pants were getting uncomfortable. But I am not really showing yet, although my doctor can feel my uterus up to my belly button. So the thinner and shorter you are, the sooner you should start showing.
WOW... @Wisco29 took the time to write out a thoughtful and helpful response to your question and all you can do is sass her for your own careless typo?
If your doctor is not concerned, and the baby is measuring appropriately, why would you need to be concerned? FWIW, I'm a FTM, I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow and I just have a new rather large roll on my stomach. I don't expect to actually look pregnant for at least a few more weeks. Also, the attitude towards a nice response to your SS question was uncalled for.

I didn't mean Why I meant When and I'm sure you knew that, but ok
Her answer was very helpful. You start to show when your uterus grows big enough that (with your body type) it shows. Her "why" answer was more helpful then guessing "when" as we can not guess what will happen with your body in the future.
No. You shouldn't be concerned about not showing as long as your dr isn't concerned. But you should be concerned about your attitude towards @wisco29 after she took the time to respond to your question.
you could also check out the HDBD thread to see what a variety of others look like at different weeks. That may show you examples of what people are trying to say- that we can't say when you are going to start to show because some people are showing a lot and some aren't even if they are the same weeks.
You should not be concerned at all. Everyone shows at different times with each of their pregnancies. I'm 16wks3d with my fourth baby and my stomach is flat. I figured I wouldn't show for a while. With my other 3 pregnancies I didn't get a visible bump until 6/7 months.
How about you just don't be rude to people who are helping you out by answering a question you could have googled in the time it took you to type the question?
No, you responded to what I wrote to someone else. By the way you don't tell me how to respond. Now, like I said Betty white if you don't like my post don't respond.

Nope. I responded to you by saying I wish this forum has a search feature. Which it does. This topic has been covered numerous times over the last several days.
Could be, but Betty White isn't in that one. And thank you @daisytortilla. I look like hell today because of allergies and lack of sleep, but most people are surprised when they learn my age.

Yeah, allergies are kicking mine and my DD butt too! Ugh! Yeah, I honestly have no idea of your age but to me you look like late 20s right around me and my friends age group. Ps..I love your hair cut...I have always wanted shorter hair, but I always chicken out! I have a medium length bob haircut.

ETA: missed a word (see how easy that is, OP?)

That was not nice!
But to answer your question, everyone shows at their own rate.
Lol! I love that!
I thought she was talking about the gif. You look great girl, no way she was talking about you!
