A goodbye

hi January 2016ers. I haven't been super active on here but enjoyed the interactions I did have.

I was on bed rest at home with a cerclage until Monday's appointment. My cervical length was no longer measurable so they sent me to the hospital. My water bag was coming out and the stitch was ripping through my cervix. So I had to have the cerclage removed.
Now I'm just at the hospital waiting. Baby is still kicking, at 20 weeks 3 days, but with my cervix dilated to 5 before they removed the stitch there's nothing they can do and it's only a matter of time. This is my second midterm loss, so it looks like I just can't carry a baby to term.

So sad to say goodbye to my little one (we decided to name him James) and being part of the fun club of pregnant ladies.

Wish you all good luck and fun with the rest of your pregnancies and hope no one else has to go through something like this.
