Sorry about the BFNs this month. I'm with you @Colleen0516, biting my nails and going completely nuts. FX our betas show us something surprising and joyful! .... They actually didn't give me a test or beta date this time. I think they forgot or when the doc said the odds were 5% with this IUI they just decided to not schedule anything.
I'll take an HPT maybe Friday if AF hasn't arrived. I have NO symptoms at all. I actually haven't taken a HPT since this thing started...AF always beats me to the punch. I'm 10dpiui and freaking out!
Also- since I'm obsessing and half of me just wants to know so I can accept that we have to move to IVF next month, Id like to say that having a giant ticker at the top of this app that says INFERTILITY in all caps when I'm reading while waiting in line or on the subway or wherever on my phone (yes, at work) freaking sucks! Who do we talk to about removing that lousy bar?!
@HBamama2B hahaha I agree! We all know we are here for infertility- pretty sure it's not a surprise to anyone! But the person looking at our phone over our shoulder (the noisy ones!), DONT need to know this is a forum for infertility.
Ps: we are exactly Synced up- I'm 10pdiui too. I'm also doing IVF next cycle if beta is a negative But I've been bad, and I've tested- and I will now continue to test until friday :-SS Can't help it! Hope we both get BFPs! There's been a few this month!

Update on me.. I had my ultrasound and bloodwork yesterday. I wanted to wait until I knew my estrogen number before I posted and then once I had it I was too busy to post anything. My estrogen is at 108. My lining was up to 8.94 mm. Let's hope it keeps that up! I had five follicles that they measured. Two on the left: 13.77 and 9.5 and three on the right: 13.4, 11.8 and 11.3. I asked my nurse when she thinks I will end up triggering and doing the IUI because I leave town for work the second week of September and obviously hope it will be done by then. She said that if my follicles grow at least 2mm between visits then she estimates I would trigger Monday or Tuesday and have the IUI Wednesday or Thursday. Fx that's what happens!

Just got back from appt. no follies on left and about 7 on right all more than 20mm so they're not sure if they're cysts or good follies. Will find out within the next 6 hours how many eggs I have and if I will trigger tonight. So freakin nervous.
@AdorkablePixie : that's great! Seems like things are finally moving for you! Hope it all keeps on going well!
@Colleen0516 : I have everything crossed for you and really hope this one turns around. I just went for my second beta and on Monday, I had told the nurse that we'd likely be seeing again on Wednesday. So this morning she asked me if I 'cheated' and I admitted to multiple cheating offenses. She told me they don't like people doing that because it happened a few times that HPT were negative and beta was positive, just still too low for a HPT to detect. It's not over til it's over, and I have you in my thoughts!
I've been trying to find online what are good estrogen, progesterone and LH levels when I'm about to ovulate. But i can't find anything. Last month my numbers were:
@colleen0516 I woke up really early this morning which is usually my sign for impending AF, but my temp stayed high... @mando15 I'm sure yours will grow. :-) I'm still not convinced my follies are follies and instead are just large cysts. Once I find out the results and if they're positive I'll feel so much better.
@Drove2u : seems like you're responding amazingly well to clomid! Fingers crossed for you and everyone else waiting for their IUI or in their TWW.

So excited for all the bfp news! I haven't tested since Saturday- and I am 14 days post hcg... My trigger has been gone for over a week! I am so fearful over testing!
@roosh1982 13dpiui is great! FX for you! How soon is your beta?
I've had AF on 12dpiui last time so never got to test. Just praying and crossing every finger and toe I've got that I make it to 13dpiui without a visit from the wicked witch of the uterus.
So the doctor just called me. I guess I had 5 mature follies and he wants me to cancel because of risk of multiples. I really don't want to cancel since he said the same thing last time and the iui didn't work. So now I don't know what to do. I scheduled the iui just in case though.
@Drove2u boo! I understand why, but it's such a waste of your great follie creation!! I hope they let you proceed, or at least you can try at home? OPK+Preseed+BBT. I'm so rooting for you!!!
Thanks so much. Well ultimately it's my choice and the doc will do it if I want it. But do I really want to take that risk? Also there is a risk of multiples by having sex. Sigh. Not sure.
It's definitely a tough decision. It'd be a hard choice for anyone. At least with TI there will be significantly less (about half) of the amount of sperm for the eggs should they all release and be viable. And the sperm won't live as long (few hours tops instead of days) given the reduction in EWCM due to the meds. Does that help? Idk...
Have they given you an adjusted plan for next month to try to limit your response? I hope they are being proactive and understand the point is not to stimulate your ovaries, but to give you a successful cycle. It is beyond frustrating to lose even one month during this emotional sink hole of a process. Hugs for you!! I hope it works out for your H&H BFP!
Thank you. :-) so if this month doesn't work he will take me off clomid and give me letrazol. I still want to go forward with the iui but is that being irresponsible?
@Drove2u : that's such a hard decision to make. I think in our infertile/this is never going to work mindset, we tend to think 'why not, it's not really going to happen?' Likely not all 5 would fertilize if you were to get pregnant, but I would base myself on what you could handle. Say you got twins or triplets, would you be okay with that? And go from there...good luck!
@Drove2u how many follicles last month? And not to be too noisy, how is your husbands sperm? Ample sample size? Morphology and motility good?
I had 4 last month and didn't get pregnant, but my husbands sperm is less than 4% morphology so we have a slightly more difficult time.
I go for it every time. Im okay with twins too and fear any more than that!! But we said that if we are granted multiples, we will be blessed and we will just figure it out lol

@Colleen0516 you're not being nosey at all. :-) I had 3 mature last month and was taking 100mg clomid. This month I have 5 on 75Mg clomid so my doctor is shocked that I got more follicles on less clomid. My husbands sperm during the last iui was over 100million with 90% motility.
@Drove2u hiphiphooray for letrozol! I responded really well to it but not too well. It's much milder while still being effective. I'm glad they are looking for alternatives for you, regardless of your decision this month.
@Drove2u It sounds like with your husband's sperm it really would be risky. In my fear of injectables stage, I researched how Jon and Kate got pregnant with their 6. They had 4 mature follicles, triggered and did IUI. I can't remember if some split or the trigger released more, but that story does freak me out to try an IUI with that many. I guess, however, that would also depend on your thoughts re: selective reduction if they did all take. Personally, I'd have a very difficult time chosen selective reduction, but no judgment here if that would be an option for you. If you want more information on that, you can probably call your doctor.
I know this decision must be killing you, and it is my biggest fear about moving on to injectables. If I were in your shoes, I think (but can't say for sure) I would cancel the IUI, but do timed intercourse (and probably only once or twice in the prime window). I wish you all the best in making this decision and really hope regardless of your decision you get 1 or 2 sticky beans!!

Thanks so much @riveridgional yeah waiting for my husband to get home to discuss this but doing the trigger tonight I think either way. I had 3 mature last time and it didn't work. I thought I was ok with selective reduction until my doc told me today how they do that. So now I don't know if I can do it.
riveridgional Really? That is how jon and kate had 6?? Oh my goodness. I just found out today I have 4 mature follies and my IUI is in the morning.
I think I would just faint if I found out there were 6 heartbeats. Thats crazy.

@babyexpress According to the excerpt of her book Multiple Blessings that I read online, yep (https://www.oprah.com/relationships/Multiple-Blessings-Book-Excerpt-Jon-and-Kate-Gosselin). I believe the chances are very small they would all fertilize and take, but there is still a chance. I always find it strange how I'm praying for and thinking my 5 or 10% of pregnancy will work, but then thinking that the 5 or 10 (or whatever low chance of multiples) will certainly never happen. I didn't mean to say what I read to freak anyone out, but I do think it is interesting. Of course, who knows if she also changed the story to make it seem less likely of a result.
I would just listen to you doctor and if you have any MFI (I can't remember your particular situation), I'm sure that would also lower chances of multiples.

Found out I was positive for MTHFR Gene Mutation during TWW of IVF #4
I know this decision must be killing you, and it is my biggest fear about moving on to injectables. If I were in your shoes, I think (but can't say for sure) I would cancel the IUI, but do timed intercourse (and probably only once or twice in the prime window). I wish you all the best in making this decision and really hope regardless of your decision you get 1 or 2 sticky beans!!
I think I would just faint if I found out there were 6 heartbeats. Thats crazy.
TTC- since we got married (off and on)
TTC with focus: Since July 2015
December 2015: Starting 1st IVF cycle
January 2016: Retrieval
March 2016: Pending Transfer (I have 3 PGS tested embryos waiting for a womb)
April 2016: BFP, the old fashioned way.
I would just listen to you doctor and if you have any MFI (I can't remember your particular situation), I'm sure that would also lower chances of multiples.
