Helloooo headaches

edited August 2015 in April 2016 Moms
Who else is getting the occasional headache?! I've had a dull headache off and on all weekend and today. It's screwing up my sleeping and making me feel I've been hit by a truck. I finally caved and took some Tylenol (trying to avoid medicine when possible)
Any other remedies work for you? I'm all ears!! Back to work tomorrow and will need to have some pep to my step.

Edited because words are so hard right now

Re: Helloooo headaches

  • I got migraines a ton with my first pregnancy, and taking a low magnesium supplement helped a ton! I just took it with my prenatal, and it got rid of the headaches. Plus, magnesium has a ton of other benefits while pregnant.

  • I have had so many headaches over the past few weeks. It's not from caffeine withdrawal since I gave that up when we started TTC. I've found that some of it's related to me getting too hungry, so I've started eating small snacks every two hours or so which has helped. Sometimes I just have to lay down and close my eyes to feel better. Good luck to you!

  • I got a terrible headache at bed time yesterday, which was unfortunate (isn't the insomnia bad enough?!). I think it may have to do with some caffeine withdrawal as well.
  • My OB always recommended a regular coke (or half of one) - it always helped me!

  • I had an INTENSE headache for a couple of days when I was only 4.5ish weeks. I ended up taking some Tylenol and mainly resting in a  dark room a lot. Luckily it has passed!

  • Woke up with a vicious headache. Ragweed is bad around here right now, so I assume it's related to that. I took Tylenol bc I couldn't stand it anymore then had a cup of strong black tea for a caffeine boost. Seems better but still on the verge. Thank God my husband is off from work today and can help occupy DS.

  • I find that usually I need to drink more water. Even if I just drank a glass of water 5 minutes ago. If a headache comes, drink more!! But will try magnesium. So sick of being thirsty all the time
  • I have been suffering from migraines. I had one last night so bad and it is still luger ingredients today. I have been placing an ice pack on my neck and forehead and that definitely helps a ton. I finally broke down and took some Tylenol Last night but that didn't do much. Hopefully you feel better soon. Headaches are bad enough when your not pregnant.
  • I get migraines regularly but didn't suffer my last pregnancy. Today I had one so bad I finally tried Tylenol and an ice pack on my forehead. Then I went to sleep in a dark room. Still feeling fuzzy.
