Anyone else having 2 anatomy scan u/s's?

I went for a Dr's appointment today and the MW told me they will be sending me for 2 anatomy scans... one at 16 weeks and another at 20-22 weeks. Anyone else get two? I'm surprised since I've only heard of having 1.

Hm. We only had one (at 22w) but I keep telling DH we need to get the 3D to confirm before much longer!!

Maybe they are doing 2 to confirm the one at 16w?

I suppose I'm ending up with 2 big ultrasounds. At my big u/s, the tech couldn't get all the measurements she needed of the heart and stomach because the baby wouldn't turn at all. They scheduled us for another big u/s next month to gather the remaining measurements they need.

I had to have a repeat with DD because they couldn't see everything, but I've never heard of getting 2 automatically. The MW said this was standard in this practice, which is cool (IMO) but surprising!

We requested an u/s at 17 weeks and all they did was tell us we're having a girl. but we still have our big u/s scheduled for 21 weeks and they will look at her organs also then.

We had our first trimester screen u/s at around 14 weeks and then the Level 2 u/s (anatomy/growth) at 20 weeks.

Since we're having twins, we have growth scans every 4 weeks after that so I just had another this week (at 24 weeks). At 3rd trimester, we go to every week I think.

I have to have a second anatomy ultrasound. The baby wouldn't turn over so the sonographer was unable to get a look at the face or a clear view of the umbilical cord.
