How many bottles - 6 Months Old?

Hi, I am currently bfing/pumping (at work) my son has 3 bottles during the day and nurses 2-3 times in a day. I will be away from him for 4 days :( and I am trying to figure out how many bottles he will need each day. I am thinking it's either 4 or 5 bottles a day. I remember that at some point the girls dropped a bottle but I can seem to remember if it was at 6 months or 9 months. Please also share your 6 months old schedule.

Thanks for the help.

  • texasgurl, how many oz in those bottles?
  • I'm not a good one to ask for that one. DD HATES her bottles and I basically have to forcefeed them to her when shes drowsy. She thinks shes an older baby and only wants solids, LOL. I was giving her 8 oz bottles but I went to the pedi yesterday and he ok'd 20-24 oz so I am now switching to 6 oz bottles and more solids. I know average for this age is 24-32 oz.
