OP, I believe what @cMichelle0423 is saying, correct me if I'm wrong, is that your babies sex would be what you are trying to predict. However it's an old wives tale that, had you lurked more, you'd see people on this forum don't really like doing. We like to deal in science and facts. In regards to "gender", that is determined when a child gets old enough to decide if they would like to remain the sex the were born physically or into the other that they were born into mentally.

Yeah and so is the girl in this one. It depends which way it's showing the uterus, and this is all I was going off of. I know it says left for girl but this photo is showing up on the right the way we're seeing it which is how OP's is showing. It's a mirror image.
I don't understand how it is fun - for anyone. Not being rude; genuinely curious. If science tells us that OWT do not work. They are not right. They are debunked, why is it fun to use them? Is it fun to wonder about how long it takes the sun and all the planets to orbit Earth? To me it is the exact same thing. Yes, when I was pregnant, I did wonder and make "predictions" about the sex of my child - but only wild guesses, not using disproven, fake pseudoscience.
I'm mobile and for some reason it's not coming up right to add a pic. Can someone add Neil Degrasse Tyson - the good thing about science?
Yes it's so annoying, really? Ugh you guys are such a bunch of whiners
I hear there are other pregnancy forums out there that are less concerned with facts and science and repetitive, annoying posts. They're probably less whiney, too. Maybe you'd like those more.

who in fact debunked this theory? I just don't get making people feel bad about posting it here. What does it hurt? Why do we have these boards anyway? Why be so serious? Being "light" is very important in motherhood, you'll realize that soon enough

I'm already a mother of two, dear. Talking down to me is a sweet little dog that simply won't hunt. My sense of humor is intact just fine. Thanks for checking though! ;;)
We don't "make people feel bad" about this type of post. We simply don't like to play. That's allowed. Notice the majority of responses are not favorable? This particular community doesn't care to try to guess using this method. Why? Because it's not any more accurate than flipping a coin.
If you look around there are plenty of fun GIF parties & humor. You must not be looking in the right place.
Who does it hurt? Well promoting faulty, inaccurate methods spreads wonky information. That can hurt in the long run. Doing your own research is vital during pregnancy & parenthood.

Oh how I missed @PrimRoseMama 's comments! I lost my last pregnancy in June and now I'm so glad to be back on the 1st trimester board ! Nice to see you are still here helping others understand how the world works.
I can't tell on yours! I love the idea of the Ramzi Method or really any old wives tales. I think it will be fun to see what was right and wrong for me, even if it's inconsistent with other peoples. You can see the yolk/placenta in my ultrasound so that's what I'm basing my Ramzi guess off of...which would make it a girl.
Re: Ramzi theory...
In regards to "gender", that is determined when a child gets old enough to decide if they would like to remain the sex the were born physically or into the other that they were born into mentally.
Sex vs gender.. They are not the same
@taykoren512 I think it's a girl if you're going by Ramzi's method. It was accurate for 2 other people I know so maybe! . Also I sent a PM.
Also, if you honestly want to do the method, do it correctly. It's supposed to be a 6 week scan.
"The Ramzi Method determines gender of a baby at six weeks by looking at an ultrasound picture to see which side the placenta is on."
This ... Plus it's on the right LOL

I can see guessing for giggles but the majority of posters don't understand the theory or find it that fun.

@pumpkinhead4 did you not read the article about how the author spoke to the actual Ramzi behind the Ramzi Theory?
Its not a popular thing to do here on TB-- folks don't like it. The end.
