Doing it all over again.

How long until you are pregnant again? Is anyone out there already planning on being knocked up again ASAP? I never thought that I would want to be pregnant again so soon but I'm 11 pp and already missing it. The dr said because I had a c section I needed to wait 12-18 months. :-(

At this point, I'm planning to wait til end of next summer/beginning of fall. I would love to have a spring baby of 2017 but well see! That may all change once this one is here! Haha

Definitely not thinking about doing it again yet. My baby fever hits around 18 months so by next winter I'm sure I will want to do it one last time.

hmmmmm. Sooner rather than later. Once this kid is out of diapers, I don't want to start again. I will be careful not to get pregnant for 6 months because of my csection then w will NTNP.

I'm not planning on any more kiddos (as of now) but I will say that the spacing thing really is a good idea. I had zero complicating factors with my first pregnancy and then with this one (pregnant 11 months PP) I've had loads (gestational diabetes, low iron, and threw my back out). I can't tell you how many times my providers said that having my babes close together didn't give my body much time to heal.

Nope. I'm done. My spinal wore off halfway through my c-section this time, and I'm not doing that again. They had to pump through morphine, fentanyl, and dilaudid just to keep me from screaming or having to put me under to finish. My first worked but they had a hard time administering it, and I had horrible shooting pains. This time, they got it in, but it took forever to kick in and then didn't last near long enough.

My body apparently doesn't like spinals... We were already pretty sure we were done after this one (our second), but that just solidified it.

We are definitely done. We have two boys ages 4 & 8 and so our little girl just rounds out our bunch. Plus three kids scares me so I sure can't imagine four. Ha!

We're already talking about our next baby, we'll probably wait a couple years though. They say you should give your body at least 18 months to fully recover between pregnancies

We plan to wait a while. Our ideal would be to have them spaced 3-3.5 years apart. Although that assumes that in 3 years we will be able to afford two in daycare.

We want at least one more. I'm 31 and DH is 36 and it took us 2.5 years and two miscarriages to get our little guy. I ended up with an emergency c section after a very complicated pregnancy. We would love to try again right away but my body needs time to heal, which stinks because every month/year that goes by my odds of getting pregnant and being able to stay pregnant go down. I guess we'll see what happens!

This is my second baby, this one was conceived 4.5 months after my Son was born. It's been a good pregnancy but for sure harder on my body then my first.

BUT... I wouldn't change a thing.
Next baby is planed to start conceiving 9 -12 months from now. With one immediately fallowing that one and then done. ( maybe)

This pregnancy caused enough stress for me to want to wait 4-5 years before another. Plus I'm only 21 and me and SO want to get married and I would like to finish school before having any more.

I always wanted 4, DH wanted 2, we agree on 3. This baby was #2 for us, so we will probably start trying when she is around 15 months so that there are 2 years between DD and #3 if all goes well.

I can't believe people are thinking about another pregnancy already!! I've got two now and that's me done.

Don't think that my nipples could take another round of breastfeeding, nor could my sanity handle more than two kiddos.

I can't even imagine having another! LOL You are supposed to give your body 18 months to heal from a pregnancy. Our oldest will be 5 in October, and this one will be 4 weeks on Tuesday. I am sooo glad they are spaced like this. A lot of people like to get all the baby stuff over with all at once, but I would not want 2 in diapers. Plus, I am very grateful that ODS can entertain himself and completely understands that I need a lot of rest as I recover from my c-section. (I'm also 38 & DH is 41.)

DH and I are pretty sure that we are done. If by chance we decide we want another it'll be in a good 2-3 years.

I had what I would consider an easy pregnancy and it was still SO HARD while only having one kid at home. Financially I think 2 is better as well.

Even with an easy pregnancy, during a round of nighttime cluster feeding, DH and I looked at each other and agreed were good with one. Adoption if we want two!

We're done at two, but after my first I remember wanting the second almost right away (at around 6 months I was ready to be pregnant again but we really started trying when DD1 was 12 months) and my mom thought I was crazy! We wanted a 2 year gap and I also really wanted to get it all over with in one shot- so I went from pregnant to breastfeeding to pregnant to breastfeeding but after that I'll have my body back forever!!! If we ever get baby fever again well either do foster care or adoption.

As of now I'd like to get back to working full time before even considering a second kid. It'll probably change but I'd like the next one to be 3-4 years out if that.

I'm going to try again as soon as I get the all clear from my doctors. I'm 34 and not getting any younger and we are hoping for a girl and boy. I'm not looking forward to the whole pregnant thing again, but maybe that will change with time

Same with us. I'm 37 and my husband is 43. We'd love to have 2 but if we do it's going to have to come pretty soon after this one. Not looking forward to being pregnant for 2 years in a row but really want more than one child.

I'm a FTM now overdue 4 days, and while I have no desire to be pregnant again right away, DH and I do hope/plan for three more kids. Being in grad school and working two jobs while pregnant this time has definitely encouraged me to aim for baby #2 sometime after finishing school, though! So maybe in 1.5 years

I got my tubes tied during my c section, so I am officially done! This was the hardest pregnancy yet and I'm not willing to go through it all again. No way.

We'd like at least one more and the plan has always been 2 years between them all so hopefully we will start trying again with DS2 is about 1 year old.

Our plan is to get out of the baby phase with all the kiddos around the same time.
