Question for all you second timers! Are you getting worse cramps this time around? I don't remember getting this many cramps before. Most of it is just a pressure feeling but there are some sharp pains too.

Me! DS is almost 17 months old @smayville what is your DS's birthday? DD's Birthday is March 23.
@littlesocksHis birthday is March 29th
@Ttcnumber2withhypo ME TOO!!! At first it worried me because I fear my body is trying to reject the baby, BUT after research I have found that it is because with #2 you are more aware of whats going on and are unconsciously looking for signs of baby!! My nanna and I were talking bout the pains and she said with her second daughter she felt extreme pains before and after birth!!
They start to go away in the 2nd trimester, so hopefully that's true!!
I just found out I'm pregnant with our second after a few months of fertility treatments! I had my ultrasound today, and am officially 5w3d. Can't wait to meet baby #2. My son is going to be such a great big brother.
Me too! My daughter is 16 months and I am SO BLOATED that I feel like I look 4 months pregnant (I'm only 7 weeks along!). I can't figure out what to where to cover this up for another 2 months. I'm a pretty slender build and am already running out of loose fitting clothes that don't still show this tummy of mine.
Baby #2 for me! My son will be 18 months at the end of August. I've learned to nap while he naps, haha! First trimester is tough with an active toddler!
Due with #2 4/22/16. My first born is 4, will be 5 when baby is born. Husband and I are waiting to tell everyone until our first appointment on 9/2. We're so excited though. It still doesn't feel real. Questions: What does DD and DS mean? I do have a big question for everyone. Has anyone had a PPH with 1st pregnancy? Are you considering VB again or a C-Section?
Baby #2 due April 20th (by my calculations), have a 7 year old little guy who will be 8 in March. He's gonna be so excited, he's been asking for a sibling for quite awhile now!
Baby #2 here as well. My son is 14 m.o. And I had a C-sec. Planning on another lovely C-sec for this baby too. I've heard most doctors don't recommend VBAC attempts if the births are less than 2 yrs apart. Anyone else hear this?
Married 9/17/11
BFP 10/5/13
DS Oliver Stephen born 6/11/14 via C-section 8 lbs 9 oz
BFP 8/14/15
Did any of you have a c section with your first children? I don't know which way to go, but I am thinking to plan another c section.
I had a c-section with my first. As much as I'd like do try a VBAC I also fear there is more risk to the baby since I had a c-section with the first. I need to do more research
I'd recommend both of you doing some research and talk to your doctors and think about the birth experience you want. I've been doing a lot of research since my emergency c-section last year, and repeat c-sections should actually not be recommended to expectant mothers unless there is a medical reason (breech baby, old fashioned c-section incision, placenta previa, etc.) There is a less than 1% chance of uterine rupture which is the largest concern with VBACs.

It's not necessarily true. I've heard 18 months, and 2 years, but when I spoke with my doctor (one of the most well known doctors in my city for VBACs), he said time frame between doesn't really matter. We even did an ultrasound to check on my scar on my uterus and he said he couldn't even see it, which means I healed up really well. My son is 10 months. I'd definitely encourage you to find a local chapter of ICAN (International Cesarian Awareness Network) and some VBAC friendly doctors.
DS will be 5 in January and he's been asking for a baby sister for months, FX that's what he will get! He doesn't know mom is pregnant yet because he's a blabber mouth and we haven't told family - but he's going to be ecstatic!

I am due on or around April 21 and my DD will be 8 in May!
Baby number 2 for us! My son is 6.5 but he'll be 7 in January. We got our miracle baby(s) via FET. Praise Jesus. Lol just got my first beta done Friday. I go in for my next one tomorrow. Praying my numbers doubled like they should've. We'll find out if we're expecting twins or not in a few weeks. Fingers crossed for #2 and #3! Lol
I'm due with #2! My DS is almost 19 months. Super excited but worried about how the shared mommy time will be. Is anyone else worried about dividing their time?! I also think I'm super emotional at the moment which isn't helping lol!

Here's a calculator for calculating your potential success rate for a VBAC: https://mfmu.bsc.gwu.edu/PublicBSC/MFMU/VGBirthCalc/vagbirth.html
We're due April 29th
I had a c-section and plan on another one this time around.
