Mine is from a song I've always loved. The line is "acute angles divide my path that I had lost". Sadly at the moment, I have anything but acute angles.
ETA: It doesn't hold any strong meaning for me, I'm mostly just a fan of assonance and alliteration, and it's an easy username to remember.
Mine is super lame. Curious George is my kids favorite show right now, so hence the name. Plus my toddler is way too adventuresome and curious about everything, so it fits.
I just changed mine to remove my personal info; the old one had the beginning of my first and last (maiden) name in it. My SN for everything in middle school/high school was jillybean, a play on jelly bean (obviously) so I went with jellybelly: the very best kind of jelly beans.
I have been craving jelly bellys because of your username!
I love monkeys. I just think they are awesome. And, because of my obsession with monkeys, my husband started calling me monkeybutt when we were dating in college.
@oregontrailmom - I read an article once about the Oregon trail generation - referring to people like me that grew up playing Oregon Trail and are between gen X and the millennials. I always assumed that is what your name meant.
I think it's kind of cute when people refer to small kids as "sweet pea." I made my account when my baby was the size of a sweet pea and 216 for feb 2016.
Super original, I know. Lol. I really dislike coming up with usernames...
I'm a music teacher and I love singing. In Italian, "canto bene" means "I sing well" (and it's shorter than "I like to sing"). I liked the sound of "Canto bene" how we would say it in English...just thought it was cute and fun and not a sn anyone would use.

Omg. Lol. That's a thing?
I would always get pissed when somebody died of dysentery.
Wisconsin represent! I mean, who doesn't love cheese?
Wisconsin girl here too! H and I went on vacation and were talking about cheese curds and no one knew what we were talking about! What?! Only the best thing ever!
Mine is because I couldn't think of anything and my husband walked by and said "oh baby! We're having a baby" so I went with it.. And 714 because that's when I was due with DD.
My middle name was Daye (before I married H) my dad always tells a story about coming up with it bc I was born on a "beautiful November day" and I think beautifuldaye was taken when I created this username years ago. If lo is a girl she gets Daye as a middle name I still love it
My username is not really creative. It actually was the name is used on The Knot. It's my first name and initial of my last name and the year my H and I got married. Maybe I'll try to think up something good to change it to.
Mine comes from that weird chant that used to be a thing when I was a kid. I think it was on a Little Caesar's commercial...pizza pizza bo bizza, banana fana fo fizza, me my mo mizza...anyway, you can do it with names too. Someone please tell me you know what I'm talking about!
I like it because it was my username on Match.com, where I met my husband, and he said it made me stand out to him right away.

My first name is the stereotypical name that you do this song with, so yep. I know exactly what you're talking about. And now I bet you guys can figure out my name, haha.

You changed your cool middle name!? Why?

Sorry I just saw you already answered this! Doh! I never heard using your maiden name as a middle name until my husband mentioned it. He's from Atlanta so I was assuming it was a southern thing?

@inomniaparatus it might be I'm not sure? I'm originally from ky and all the women in my family have taken their maiden name as middle when they married. Lol never thought it might be unusual!

My mom did it and she's from the east coast. I've know friends who did the same from all over. It's just a nice way to keep your maiden name and take your husband's. Have your cake and eat it, too!
Re: GTKY: Explain your username
PS: I laugh at my own jokes.
Fried curds are the Best!!! Mmmmmm
I'm not sure if I like your new name. It making me hungrier, if that's possible. :@)
