When was/is your 1hr GD test?

I haven't scheduled mine yet and I'm not sure when it is supposed to be. Just hoping they don't "surprise" me with it at my next apt!

I had mine today (yuck!) and I think last time it was around 28/29 weeks.

29w (supposed to be 28, but my appt was pushed back a week)

I can't imagine them surprising it on someone... I didn't have to fast, but they encouraged me to just eat protein beforehand, not carbs, fruit, sugars, etc.

Mine is next week (28 wks). They sent the drink home with me at my 24 wk appt, I drink it at home, and then show up an hour later for the blood draw and dr appt. No longer than a standard OB appt, thank goodness, since I have to bring DD.

I got the lab order at my 26 week appt. and had the test at 27 weeks.

30 weeks, though my doctor said that was a little late. I think they prefer 28 weeks.

I just had it on tues. I was given the orange drink at my previous appt so I was aware that it was coming up. I doubt they'll just spring it on you because you have to drink it an hour before they draw your blood.

My Dr wanted it done between 24-26 weeks. I just got it a couple days ago. They won't just spring it on you.

At my OB you check in, they send you to the lab to do the drink. Then you go in for your apt (which is like 20 mins) and then return to the lab for the blood draw at 1hr after drink. So it is possible that they could "surprise" me with it. But I will only be 24 weeks so I'm pretty sure it won't be next time. Probably the one after that. TIA everyone!

Mine is tomorrow and I will be 28 weeks. I have already had two tests done this pregnancy because I had GD with my last pregnancy so they are checking it a lot more frequently to be on the safe side.
