how long did you wait to give him/her a bottle? Once you gave him/her a bottle did you have a hard time getting them to latch to the nipple?

    1st bottle - DD 4w1d, DS 4w0d. With DD there was a hiccup (I don't recall exactly what it was); DH read more on how to bottle feed in a BF-friendly manner, and BFing continued normally.

    I waited until he was 4 weeks. I had DH give him an ounce and then I finished feeding him on the breast. Easy transition! We've done that a few times and no big deal for the baby.

    @kelly422 will your baby take the full bottle if he has to/is offered? That's the "method" I'm trying to get my lo to take one. She only takes a little at a time. I can't get her to drink a bottle for a full feed!
