Born at exactly 33 weeks

Hi everyone,
My beautiful twin girls decided they wanted to meet the world in a hurry haha. Monday, August 17th @ 2:00am my water broke and by 3:36am baby A was born followed by baby B at 3:38am. I had an emergency c-section because both girls were breech. Baby A is Briar Rose she weighed 3.6lbs and baby B is Brogan Leigh she weighed 3.11lbs, both girls are 15 1/2inches long & extremely healthy. Both girls are currently in the NICU where we have to get them to start regulating their own body temps, feeding and gaining weight! My beautiful blessings!

My 5yr old daughter actually choose Briar Rose and yes it's from sleeping beauty haha. She is a very proud big sister!

Thank you again. Yes, I am feeling great surprisingly after having a c-section. My girls are at a different hospital that has a NICU and I was feeling so well I actually got a day pass yesterday to go visit them

I'm told this morning that I will be getting discharged today which is great news so I can go spend time with my girls!

Oh my gosh it happened FAST! I had no prior signs of labor I vacuumed out all my vents that day I felt so good. Around 2am I was laying in bed reading a book and I felt a gish, stood up and looked down I lost my plug and water was still pouring out so I went and cleaned myself up. No contractions or anything at that time. At 2:29 on the way to the hospital my contractions started and they were 3 minutes apart and intense, once arriving at the hospital they checked my cervix and I was 5cm dial ages with contractions every minute and a half about 10 minutes later the Dr arrived and checked me I was fully dilated but she felt a bum (both of my girls were breech) so they called the ER with no time to spare rushed me into the operating room for an emergency c-section, they did not think I would last long enough to have surgery because once they strapped me to the table my contractions were every few seconds and I was crying for them to let me push. The Dr yelled for the forceps and was prepared to try to deliver these babies if they couldn't get me to sleep ASAP. Last thing I remember was an intense contraction then waking up not long after and seeing my two girls before they were sent to a bigger hospital haha my girls did not want to wait at all, it was less than two hrs from my water breaking to them being born.
My first daughter was a preemie also weighing 3.4lbs so thankfully o was expecting them to be early and small but thankful they're so healthy!
