Apparently this is the time people feel like they need to decide? And can't be bothered to read the team pink or blue threads or the baby names board?
I won't lie once it comes closer to crunch time I'm sure I'll ask you ladies in N15 about our name choices only because I've come to value your ladies opinions. But until then I always post my ideas on the name board.
In the grand scheme of things - NOT a difficult decision. I came in ready to have to read a tough story and offer advice on an ACTUAL difficult decision...
Ya know, if this is our type of difficult decisions we're making, I have one to add. I'm GD so life right now is hoarding my carbs like I'm Golem over the one ring...tonight should I have my cinnamon vanilla bean milkshake for a snack...or milk and cookies. Hmmmmm

I ended up going with the shake, totally added some pumpkin spice to it, but can we just discuss these brownie batter Oreos? My God, they sound life altering!

They are amazing. Not as good as the Reese's PB cup, but pretty darn close.
I would cut someone for a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie and a glass of milk right now. Actually, skip the milk and I'll use that carb reserve on a second cookie.
If there's something strange underneath the hood. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. If there's something weird and it don't look good. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. Immediately. If it's new, painful, and possibly pregnancy related get your ass off the internet and call your doctor. It's for your health and your child's.
okay, I realize this will be a complete uo... But I was up at the cabin this weekend and allowed myself to enter the candy/ice cream shop. Ordered an enormous waffle cone full of black licorice ice cream (my favorite). It was absolutely glorious, and I don't feel even a little bit guilty about it.

It's ok. Someone has to eat all the black licorice in the world. Although, it's also people like you who perpetuate it.

This will be a UO but I do not like Oreos. They gross me out. Actually any packaged cookie I usually don't like (maybe I'm spoiled lol). But chewy warm chocolate chip cookies hold my heart! And now excuse me while I go bake chocolate chip cookies lol
I saw the burger king cake but couldn't pull the trigger...Now that you said it's delicious I'll have to go back. As far as @nmwheel1 goes...shuuuuuun the non believers! Oreos 4 lyfe
While I love me some cookies, I'm usually too lazy to bake them and I'm not a fan of store bought. BUT. I discovered the most delicious double chocolate chip muffin recipe. And now I bake those regularly. And will probably bake some today because I'm thinking about them now.

Me and the Dough Boy go way back. He and Lil' Debbie are usually my best pals when I'm upset. It hurts that we can't hang for the next few months. Thank God for naturally high metabolisms or I'd be about 600lbs. lol.

I'm definitely going to be looking for these at the grocery store when I go today! They sound pretty amazing! I'm going to have to hide them from DH though... he is a bit obsessed with any kind of Oreo!

This. I was so nervous to open this thread because I've been so quick to cry the last few days and I was terrified of what might be lurking here.

I expected something along the lines of someone debating giving their child up for adoption, or wondering about how to handle a child with a disease that is fatal shortly after birth, maybe a mother who's SO has left or is dying. I'm glad that OP doesn't have to deal with those kinds of issues, but a bit of perspective may be warranted.

I, too, was expecting something much more serious than choosing a name. Something literally all of us have to do.
Also, Walmart sells boxes of cookie mixes that have two separate batches in one box. I think that's genius because I can buy a box, make and eat a batch, and then save the other for later.
Also, have you all tried microwave mug cakes yet? It's old news for some, but if you mix a spoonful of nutella in with the batter before you cook it, it gets dangerously good.
I to was ready for something heart breaking, a real hard decision....
On the other hand I was contemplating making chocolate chip cookies today and now I have easily made up myind on my "really hard decision" and am totally going to make them. Thanks OP, man being a parent and having to make these kind of decisions is just tough

Yup. A million things went through my head and I thought "oh dear... please don't let this be heartbreaking". Ummm... a name decision? Dear lord.

That is amazing. I made cake mix the other day just so I could eat the batter... I didn't even attempt to make cake or cupcakes ( no shame)
I'm a frequent lurker on the threads that turn into delicious dessert discussion. I want to personally thank you ladies for giving me new inspiration every so often and fueling my sweet tooth... BRB... Baking chocolate chip cookies while DH makes an ice cream run.
Dang it! I thought I satisfied my sweet tooth with chocolate milk....now I want cookies & ice cream...the Oreos & every other calorie in the world. Life is so hard right now

If you want to eat as much raw cookie dough as you want to without any of the raw egg risk: substitute each egg with 1/4 cup yogurt. (Double the rising agent if you're actually baking them.)
I made an Oreo ice cream shake last week. And this weekend we had some friends over and I made an Oreo poke cake. I heart all things Oreo. And my husband sure doesn't mind it either!

I made TWO batches, and yes I did eat some of the dough. I've been eating it for years to!
