  • Workout plan: Monday-off, Tue. Body Sculpting class, Wed.- Spin, Thurs. Body Sculpting, Fri. Spin 

    Meal plan: Ziti and meatballs with salad, Balsamic & mustard glazed chicken with roasted veggies, Homemade grilled pizza with salad, lemon pepper grilled shrimp with veggies. For lunches I'll make a big batch of salad and grill up some chicken earlier in the week. 

    Something for you: Not necessarily for me but I spent some time getting things done for my classroom and the start of the school year. Surprisingly it felt great and calmed my anxiety that I was able to get so much done. I'll probably go in again this week while I'm still feeling good. I've also been taking the time to catch up with friends I haven't seen lately. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions: I didn't work out all last week. Haven't done that is months! So exhausted and my son had a runny nose so I felt like I couldn't bring him to the Y daycare. I could have easily workout at home but nope...hoping to kick into gear this week. 

    GTKY: Any favorite meal prep tips? Not really besides planning! Once I go back to work Sundays are my meal prep day. I wash and cut all veggies for our meals, make marinades, make lunches for the first half of the week, and prep my chia mason jars. It helps me make better choices because in a short time its finished and ready to go for the week!

  • Workout plan: I teach BodyPump two days this week and will also do some cardio. I'm taking a few weeks off from teaching after this week to be extra careful.

    Meal plan: I try to eat small meals every three hours...doesn't always happen but it keeps me from getting too hungry

    Something for you: soooo excited to meet my two best friends for a girls weekend next week!! It won't be the the drinking and partying weekend we had planned but I am still so thrilled

    Rants/Raves/Questions: just tired of the fear I feel all the time. I have two healthy boys and exercised until they were born...but after my m/c in May I am so scared of doing something wrong!! Come on second trimester!!!

    GTKY: Any favorite meal prep tips? Not really...I haven't been eating the healthiest the last week

  • Workout plan: I try to do cardio, light weights, and yoga 3-4x a week, but I only worked out once last week. I'm so tired!

    Meal plan: Back to paleo this week. Our fridge basically needs to be completely restocked so I will be buying nothing but meat a veggies this week.

    Something for you: I start student teaching on Wednesday so I plan to binge on Netflix for the next couple of days and spend some time with the hubby before school makes our lives crazy. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm nervous all the time and I don't really feel pregnant yet so I'm terrified I'm going to go to my first appointment and get bad news.

    GTKY: Any favorite meal prep tips? Not really. I like to plan my meals for the entire week, I tried to do a month but that didn't really work for us. 
  • Workout plan: Pre-pregnancy I did Hapkido three times a week and walked five miles a day. I plan on going to Hapkido (with a modified routine) twice a week and walking as much as I can.

    Meal plan: Tonight we are doing a pot roast with lots of veggies which will be dinner and lunches for me while DH is away for work this week. I will also make lentil soup and probably grilled chicken with roasted cauliflower.

    Something for you: I make soap as a hobby so I've been boosting production this week while I was off so that we have a solid stockpile before baby arrives. Playing the long game here!

    Rants/Raves/Questions: I was so tired last week I didn't work out at all. Really hoping this week is better.

    GTKY: Any favorite meal prep tips? I plan out a weekly menu so that I know what's for dinner each day.
  • Workout plan: I hope to do barre tomorrow, yoga Tuesday and sculpt Friday and Saturday. Thursday's I run.

    Meal plan: I struggle with this, so hoping to pick up some tips!

    Something for you: last night of beach volleyball tonight and I plan to have dessert or something since I can't have beers anymore!

    Rants/Raves/Questions: my shoulder is bothering me so I'm hopeful it goes away and I can be more active and return to sculpt

    Meal plan: it's work in progress, just got back from vaca today and need to food shop. I have filet planned for DHs bday on Wed.

    Something for you: I have a stitch fix coming in the next week or so, I'm excited for new clothes.

    Rants/Raves/Questions: DH said he wants to start running so I'm pretty excited abt that. I hope he sticks with it and we can do it together.

    GTKY: Any favorite meal prep tips? Plan for the week around your schedule. Find a few easy staples you don't mind having weekly (or biweekly), some of mine are tacos with collard green wraps and baked salmon with roasted beet and orange salad. Also crock pot meals you can portion out freeze make easy lunches (chili, curry chicken, etc).

    Something for you: I have my old dance studio's 50th anniversary gala next Sunday. I'm super excited to get dressed up and see some old friends!

    Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm worried I'm not gonna eat well or exercise enough this week bc we may be having an open house and showings for our house, so I don't know if we'll be eating on the fly at all this week.

    GTKY: Any favorite meal prep tips? None. Except to actually plan dinners because I plan healthier dinners than just putting something together last minute.
