My UO today: I can't stand when I'm out in public and just see children staring at electronic devices. Doctors office, restaurants, stores you name it. Like interacting with children is so excruciating that it's easier to just turn them into electronic zombies. My son has used my phone in public only when stuck at his doctors office doing neb treatments for a severe asthma attack. I just want to rip the device away and tell the parents, put your own phone down and TALK to your kid!
I am a SAHM and I play with and talk to my kid all day everyday. We go for walks, play cars, color, make meals together, dance, play outside, etc. BUT, when mommy needs a little peace (and the ability to think and focus) while she tries to do her shopping at Target or the grocery store, lil man gets to play with an iPhone loaded with baby apps. Just be careful of judging those moms. That might be the only 30 minutes the kid is on the electronics, and moms need a break sometimes. At least I do.
I can totally understand that when shopping, I think my biggest gripe is when I see kids on it all through dinner at restaurants. That actually bothers me with adults as well lol
My UO today is I cannot wait for fall to be here. The cooler weather, the beautiful colours, wearing boots and scarves
My UO is that i absolutely *hate* football season. At least all the college football crap here in AL.
Ah yes, I know how you feel. I have no say in anything once football has started. I don't mind watching Patriot's games but why DH has to watch *every single game* is beyond me.
