My son was born 8 days late. I went in to be induced at 6 days late but he took his sweet time (and was born the one day I was really hoping he wouldn't be born).
My water broke at 32 weeks and I had him the next day via c-section. Little guy never turned from his breech position the whole pregnancy. 24 days in the NICU and he is now a healthy 4 year old.
I had my first 4 days after his EDD. My second came a day after her EDD but I asked to be induced. My third came 5 days over EDD but I also asked to be induced. Wouldn't be surprised if this baby went past the EDD as well
1st- exactly one week early. 2nd- one day early. 3rd- exactly one week late. 4th- 2 weeks late. 5th- one week early. Truth is, no matter how many you have, they come when they're ready. Also, my water has never broken on its own. Every single pregnancy is different!

DD was 10 days ahead of schedule. I started getting contractions the night before. I was only 2cm dilated but I was developing preclampsia and decided to break my water to speed up the process.
I was a week late. He came on his own the day I was scheduled to be induced due to high blood pressure. I attribute a very painful internal exam for stirring him to action.
My dd was 5 days late... Then I was induced due to low amniotic fluid... 17 hrs later she was born via c-section because I got chorioamnionitis. I'm hoping this delivery goes much better!
I've heard one kinda does what their mom did with their first, and it was true for me. My mom was 2 1/2 weeks late with her first and I was induced at 2 weeks late. My mom labored 30+hrs and I labored 60.
