I work from home. During certain conference calls I use the time to clean. Nothing says multitasking like answering work questions while scrubbing the toilet.
I gained 1 lb from last week. I told DH because I was upset but also told him it went all to my boobs---I mean it could have!! They have been really sore and swollen.
Any confession is that I think most of the names on the "baby names" thread are horrible.
I won't even touch that forum. The last thing I want to do is share my thoughts on baby names with internet strangers!!
My favorite from yesterday cruising that forum was "Bricknee" (someone's DH came up with that and she was trying to convince him it was a terrible idea).

An acquaintance of mine named her baby "Braxton". Like Braxton Hicks contractions. I kept thinking it was a joke.
I'm a total people pleaser and am terrified to tell the family I do daycare for that I'm pregnant. I love their little boy and I hate that they're going to have to find someone else to watch him. I'm planning to tell her on Monday (I've had the last 2 weeks off as they've had family in town) so they can start looking early, but I still hate adding that stress to their lives!
I don't want to tell my best friend I'm pregnant bc I know she'll decide it's time to have her second and I want to be the only pregnant one
I told my sister this past weekend that I'm PG and she told me she was going to make an appt this week to have her IUD removed. I don't want her to get PG yet for this very reason. She'll steal all the attention. That's so childish and hateful but IDC. :-q
DH is killing me! Ive wanted a baby since i was one, and we decided TOGETHER to start trying again (After years of IF). got pregnant on our first cycle and now he's freaking out, I understand because our finances have never been worse, but let me enjoy my first pregnancy, stop raining on my parade! OH! and the nursery room depends on the gender?!?!?! he'll only give up his "man cave" if it's a boy.... that's so dumb.
also, I would love to decide on nursery themes, but he doesn't want to talk about it. So i guess i'll pick it on my own and he can deal.
I know that I should give him space and let this all sink in. But Heaven forbid something does happen and i don't get to term , i'll be so mad that I didn't enjoy my pregnancy to the fullest!
Don't get me wrong, DH is my best friend and I couldn't be happier with our marriage, but he's killing me with the baby stuff.
I hate that maternity clothes tend to run large. I'm 5'4 125, size 2 when not pregnant and some of the size 0 maternity pants literally fell off me with DD. Apparently I need the juniors maternity section. (
I'm headed to an amusement park with my 3 year old and we're totally going to ride the kiddie rides together. "No expectant mothers" my ass. If I can safely ride in a car, I can safely ride the carousel.
I am expecting my ILs to be judgmental when we tell them. They think that because DH owns his own business we're broke.
I really don't want to tell them til April. However I really want to see my SILs face when we tell them. She's a one upper and just had a baby in July, she's going to shit bricks.
Preach girl! Mine was like this with our first well into my second trimester. I have just come to the conclusion that they really can't process things sometimes : ) Then they process it one day and all of a sudden you have a personal guide to pregnancy through your hubby!
And my spill for the week is after using this dang site less than a year ago with my little I still get overwhelmed and composed because I am a computer illiterate 25 year old.
My hubs still isn't excited and is only anxious and worried about the money. We both have careers, we have a home, we'll be fine! Just be excited, damnit!
Also, when we told mil, she said, "Oh no! What are we {meaning the grandparents} going to do with two of them?" Um... what?!
Why the eff aren't the people in my life excited?!

I can't even deal with all the younique names. Maybe because I'm a teacher, but I always think about how teachers and classmates will pronounce the name wrong or roll eyes when they see the name. And Bricknee?? Noooooo! I did go to HS with a Braxton, though.

I have this same problem only I'm 5'10 so finding pants long enough adds to the frustrations! And amen to the posts about names! I wanted to gouge my eyes out after reading that thread. I'm all about original names, but not made up ones.
In general I hate that most maternity clothes are so fugly. Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I want to dress like a hobo in gauchos for the next 6 months. thanks.
Confession - I'm not even 6 weeks and already bought maternity clothes yesterday. But Loft was having 40% off everything sale and there were skinny cords on sale so I got 2 pairs for like $14 each

Forever 21 had a maternity line when I was pregnant with my first and it was awesome. They cancelled it because of some bs about how it was promoting teen pregnancy. Like 20-somethings don't ever shop there *eye roll*

Ugh, so true. I think I got one dress and one sweater and then just tees/tanks/jeans for maternity with DD. blousey just doesn't work without making me a square. Not to mention Old Navy was the only place I could find maternity shorts with less than a 7" inch inseam. I have a 28" inseam for pants, anything more than about 5" is past mid-thigh. I'm in my mid 20s thanks, not 50.
Told the IL this week...yeah my MIL basically went into shock and started getting hot flashes and her heart started racing. I had to go get her ice water and calm her down. Then DH made a joke about my SIL possibly being pregnant too( she's not it was a joke) and MIL seriously almost had to go to the the hospital cause she was freaking out and surprised so much. OHHHH and she peed herself! that made me laugh so bad that I peed myself. It was very eventful!
I don't want to tell anyone I'm pregnant. Like, no one. I'd be happiest if they found out when I was literally pushing it out of my body.
(especially not my in-laws!)
QFT. I can't bear the idea of telling my in-laws. They are nice people but have opinions about everything. They like things done a certain way and I don't want to hear it for the next 9 months.

I am 32. I don't intend to stop shopping at Forever 21 any time soon. I don't go there a ton, and a lot of their stuff is crap but I have some really cute stuff from there!
Re: FFFC
My name is a jab at all the special snowflakes. Don't hate me.

Preach it. Anything with a YOU-neek spelling makes me stabby. Kayleigh is one of my least favorites at the moment.
