I know it's a little early but I've been noticing a little growth from measurements and pictures. My ab muscles are insanely sore and what's sucking in these days?? Happy baby growth to you all!
I've lost all will to suck it in. Also, as per my ultrasound and my ER doc, my uterus is above my public bone so I call BS on the diagrams everyone posts on any post about showing before 12-15 weeks.
Aweeee Yay! You look great! This is number 2 for me so I thought it might be possible but after reading I was starting to think this belly I'm watching grow is like some magic trick that's going to just disappear! Congrats on that sweet bump!
Yes your uterus can be above your pubic bone but It is still bloating. The baby is literally maybe half an inch big. Not big enough to have an actual baby bump.

This I know. I just hate that chart. It's puts everyone's bodies into the same box and that's not how our bodies work.
3 miscarriages - 1 DS (6) - 1 DD (3) - #3 due March 30!
Totally aware of the size of the baby, I think every baby app or article I've read has a picture or comparison of the size of baby based on my due date flashing in bright lights. All that aside doesn't mean our bodies can't show that size differently. That's all this post was for was for maybe some people to share their enthusiasm for their bloated or even slightest bit growing belly.
Ohhh I definitely have some extra love down in the belly area. Not a bump yet, just some bloating. And I agree with @chanelwest that everyone's bodies can show even the smallest poppy seed, sesame seed, blueberry, wherever you are, differently. My sister started obviously showing at 8 weeks. People would ask her when she's due. It definitely happens.
I've noticed way more bloating this time than with my last pregnancy! I can't suck in, and we've got a long ways to go before we start telling people! I think I'll be staying home in my sweats!
As of a few weeks ago I definitely had a flat stomach and now I for sure don't! I'm guessing it's just bloating, although I also think I saw a friend of mine eyeing me suspiciously yesterday...
I think this supports the case for some of us seeing a bump earlier than others. I'm not sure if it's bloating or an expanding uterus, but my waist band is more snug.
this is my second and with my first you could finally tell it was baby like 14 weeks (i think?) cuz it was a hard bump. right now i'm bloated to the nines but it's a big ol mush ball of yuck. totally given up on sucking it in as well!
I have gained almost 5lbs (doing nothing differently). I am still eating the same except for a few more veggies and still exercising (walking 10 miles a day as a mail carrier) since I found out I was pregnant. I have no idea where this weight came from but I'm embracing it. !Some of it is defiantly bloat! And I am already up a cup size in my chest. Everyone is different, so embrace it!
@bboroski that makes me feel much better. I had just lost weight before I found out I was pregnant, and now I've gone back up despite not eating any more fats or doing less exercise. Glad it isn't just me!

I wish mine would start to look less like flab and more like a cute little bump but right now I've just lost my flat stomach :-( even though I've actually lost a few pounds.

Yeah I'm sporting a nice bloat bump. Just a few weeks ago I had a nice flat stomach. Now its gone, and that sucks! The bloat is really bad at the end of the day. In the mornings, its not too bad. I haven't gained any weight, but my pants are uncomfortable. My coworkers probably think I'm gaining weight. I wish I could wear yoga pants and a hoodie to work!
I've been sporting my spanx to work the past two night thanks to not being able to suck the bloat in. Not sure if it's because of baby or how I've been eating lately.
@bboroski that makes me feel much better. I had just lost weight before I found out I was pregnant, and now I've gone back up despite not eating any more fats or doing less exercise. Glad it isn't just me!
I just lost about 35lbs in the past year. I know it's bound to happen but seeing those scale numbers go up has been killing me especially when everyone keeps saying "you won't gain much to start" haha. So your not alone!!

I'm here too. I'm probably eating less and exercising more, and I'm up 5lbs. meh. I gained 70lbs with my first and lost it all within 3 months. I'm not to worried.
It's bloating . Baby is way behind the pubic bone. The bump is all gas and poo right now... Some start to show around 10 weeks if it's a subsequent pregnancy but it's super likely you just need tums . I had awful bloating last time but I've increased my water intake while at work and the gym and I swear it's made a huge difference .
I'm only 5 weeks 3 days and my son asked me yesterday if I was pregnant....I haven't told him yet... Ha ha children are honest right?! Any way it's due to a ton of bloating and bigger boobs for sure!!
I've definitely got a bloat going on! Today did rubber band trick to button my pants...putting hair rubber band through the hole and attaching the other end to the button. Wore a longer shirt to cover. Usually when I wake up my tummy is flatter, but throughout the day it just blows up like a balloon!
I had to borrow my mums floaty trousers today cause my jeans were digging into me so bad. Literally gone up two sizes from an 8 to a 12(I'm in Ireland so sizing a little different from the states) . Lots of cramping as well so could well support the growing uterus theory.
For the bloat I've found these tips very helpful-- Water! Walk! Yoga (the gentle twisting makes things move) and really watching sodium intake (I think this one is most useful)

WELL THAT IMAGE IS AN EFFING JOKE! 30 pounds?! I wish. I worked out and ate right my entire pregnancy last time, and ended up gaining 45+ pounds before it was all said and done. And delivered a 7 lb 2 oz baby. So yeah. Nope.
I feel like I look 3 months pregnant, especially after I eat! And I'm only 5 weeks. Though I feel better knowing it's partially because of pregnancy rather than me just being fat lol I'm excited to actually look pregnant, but it won't actually be because of the baby's size for a few more months!
I'm a little bloated, but most of the body change has been my INCREDIBLE EXPANDING BREASTS. Seriously, I was already an F-cup, what the heck? I'm pouring out of a 32g and they don't MAKE a bigger cup in my band size...
