My daughter was born via c section 2 years ago and even after successful laboring and dilation. I couldn't get her out because she was OP and stuck under my pubic bone.
Baby number 2 due in March and I am a VBAC hopeful. My main concern is that when my daughter was born, her head measured in the 90th percentile. I think it's safe to say that number 2's will be around that size.
What should I be concerned about tearing in general with a head that size?....VBAC concerns regarding head size?

Both my children had heads in the 98th percentile and I delivered them vaginally. 3rd degree tear with my son (born first after being induced and in labor 17 hours), then barely a 2nd degree tear with my second child (born med free after a few hours of labor).
You probably will tear, but that can heal! Don't be afraid of a big head. It's the shoulders that are tough.
Hopefully both of our new babes have normal sized heads this time! Lol.

Look into spinning babies and a doula. Also a Webster certified Chiro is helpful too!
Wanted to update you all on my successful VBAC! Water broke spontaneously 11:30 am the night before our 7 am induction. Which was convenient because we were 15 minutes from the hospital in a hotel instead of 2 hours away at home.
My little guy had some problems. The docs wanted to start pitocin when my labor stalled at 5cm but had to stop often because his heart would decelerate. Then, I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia halfway through labor and put on magnesium which made me feel awful. I finally progressed to completion almost a full day after admittance. Unfortunately, baby had more heart rate issues during the pushing phase. Enough for the doctor to tell me he needed to be born quickly. So instead of allowing me to make slow progress with pushing, the doctor pulled him down with forceps and he was born quickly with the next push. Sweet boy had the cord around his neck twice! A very empowering experience but a bit of a rougher recovery than I was anticipating. I'm glad I had what it took to put him first in a dangerous situation. You never know what is going to happen with these things! Always be ready to change the plan!!
