WTF Wednesday?!

Re: WTF Wednesday?!

  • This is so me. I ususally have to reign myself in.... but I am not as bad as my mother. Ill get something from her like "What are you doing?????" and Im instantly annoyed, bless her. I had to LOL at your examples though!
I'll be honest, I occasionally use more than necessary but it's usually like "What???" when I'm truly surprised at something.
Me too, you use them when appropraite... but its when they are used out of context thats annoying. Or when someone is wayyyyy too excited.

  • WTF to Comcast...again. They were my TW yesterday, which was well-deserved. My wireless is currently down for the 100th time, and they can't send someone until Tuesday to replace the modem (and they want to charge me $50 to replace their crappy piece of equipment; don't get me started on the absurdity of that.)
My husband is on call tonight, and telling a patient to go get admitted to the hospital because you can't get into their chart/do anything for them is not really an option! He's basically going to have to go camp out at Starbucks or his sister's all night.

@MRSJG3 my boyfriend is the biggest emoticon whore I know. If I don't use them in a text, he thinks something is wrong. The last one was :(:(:(:(:( hopefully that will change after work. followed by 5 thumb ups

Ha! My H over uses the smooch emoticon for the iPhone. He will use like 6 at a time. I am not a real touchy feely person so I am just like "okay okay I get it!"

That's my favorite one. If I don't use them, he thinks I'm mad.

Wtf to this sore throat and headache. And congestion. I'm not down with this

Also wtf to my husband's friend speculating how big my boobs are going to get based on their current size. Sooooo creepy. I totally called him out on it in front of everyone and public shaming for the win! He's never gotten the message from women before that his behaviour is overly sexual and unwanted so maybe some make peer pressure will help

    Edit: spacing

Yep, same here. H only uses them when he's making fun of me.

  • WTF fatigue? Pretty sure second tri is supposed to mean more energy. I slept almost through the night last night and I'm still completely wiped out after work.

I feel like that never applied to me until about 18-20 weeks.

  • Here's the comment that started this:

I had originally planned to have my sister and my SO BUT it didn't work out that my sister could make it up (she lived 3 hours away) so it was my SO and my mom!!

Somehow she managed to keep both of us calm!! I was a mess with pain and he was too nice about it so it annoyed me!! If it hadn't been for my mom idk how it would have went!

Just go with your gut (hehe baby bump) and you don't have to tell anyone until it's time!! It is all on how YOU feel!! don't worry about hurting someone's feelings because your the one in charge!

No need for all the exclamation points!

Whenever I see extreme exclamation points used idk why but I picture someone waving their finger, like in a NONONO motion. !! [-X
  • Wtf to every single driver on the road....except me. Why are you driving so SLOW and STUPID. I feel like everyone just got their lisence today and came from a first time driving convention and decided to go in every direction I was traveling. Grrrr

That's the perfect way to describe it. This morning the same driver cut me off twice and didn't even need to be in my lane. And of course every time they cut me off, they drove 5 under the speed limit. If you're going to cut me off, at least go as fast as I am!

Wtf to my 8yo DS who turned into a moody, cynical teenager overnight. When I suggested he might benefit from going to bed early, his response was, "If I do, it's just to be because I need a break from you and Daddy." Then he gave me his best angry eyes.

The joke is on him - it's also a break for us (he just hasn't figured this out yet).

  • WTF to my OB's office....I brought my 3 children with me to today's appointment (they start school next week), and it was kind of an annoying common sense orientation of some sorts....and I was actually asked lots of info in regards to info for moms that were new at expecting, but I had my 3 children with me. I knew how this happened, and none of what's going on is new to me.

Just silly for a 45 minute drive, that's all.

Omg this is usually a struggle for me as well. My 7 year old son is going on 16 I swear. Sometimes I can't believe the attitude and emo-ness (if that's a word), that comes from my child. My gosh he is so moody sometimes!
